•Stella's POV•

Cars honking. Cars stopping. Red lights flashing.

Damn. Can't this traffic get anymore worse?

I sat at the backseat of my dad's car, listening to music on the way to school. What a typical thing to do, I know.

"Dad, just over take," I said, looking out the window, aware that he can't.

"Stella, you know we can't," my dad laughed.

"Yeah, I know. I just mean, I might get late for school," I said.

"Don't worry, I can think of a reason for you," my dad said.

I went back to scrolling through my phone and changing the music. After a while, the traffic loosened and we were able to get to my school about three minutes before the bell.

"Ah.. Silla High," I said to myself as I got out the car.

"Well, have fun in school, Stell. Don't get into fights okay?" My dad said before going back inside.

I scoffed and waved goodbye to him and headed for the entrance.Exactly when I stepped inside the building, the school bell rang.

"Shit," I muttered to myself. Maths was my first subject on Mondays and getting late was not a very good option.

Students started running and I brisk walked. Then suddenly, someone was running real fast he bumped into me. We both collapsed on the floor.

"Ow, holy mother," I muttered, rubbing my shoulder.

"Oh, sorry. Are you alright?" The guy pulled my hand away from my shoulder and I looked at him and laughed.

"Luke!?" I exclaimed.

"Oh god, Stella?" Luke said, confused. "I'm so sorry! Here let me help you up." He held his hands out for me to grab.

"Wow. What's the rush?" I said, still rubbing my shoulder.

"Well.. I'm going be late for music class," he said.

"Wait, aren't you—oh, sorry," I stopped myself, remembering he changed Language for Music class. "I forgot you changed subjects."

"Yeah.. Language is pretty boring," he said. "Well, I gotta go, Tella. Meet you at lunch!"

He started running down the hall. Well there you have it. First event of the day—bumping into one of my best friends, Luke Hemmings.

I looked at him run until he turned left. Then my phone rang in my pocket. I pulled it out and answered it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Tella! It's me, Audrey. Where are you?"

"I'm just by the entrance but I'm coming already," I said while fixing the things of mine that fell when I bumped into Luke.

After gathering my things, I brisk walked once again to reach my classroom. Luckily, when I came in, Mr. Higgins wasn't there yet. I immediately sat down next to Audrey.

"Hey, we should all have lunch together," I said to her, remembering what Luke said before he ran off.

"Great idea," Audrey said. "I bet the boys would have lots of stories to tell. Again."

——

Maths went by so fast. Well, that was because Audrey and I almost spent the whole time passing papers talking about random things.

It was lunch time and we both waited for our friends by the cafeteria. After a while, they showed up. Ashton, Calum, Michael, Luke, Julie and Larrisa.
