•Calum's POV•
Today, we were packing up half of our stuff for our "homecoming" in Sydney. I have to say that I'm actually missing the Sydney atmosphere.
"Tonight's our last show in Perth," Ashton sighed, sitting on the bed.
"Yeah, we better make it good, though," I said.
Band life. Let's talk about that. It's actually indescribable. You don't have any idea of what'll come. Sometimes, you're gonna have to wake up extra early to fix up for things like writing sessions and interviews. Band life can also be scary at the same time. You can't trust just anyone this time because you're definitely not a normal person anymore. You are you. People know you for what you do and most of all, they can plan anything towards you.
But despite that, band life is really fun. You get to show the people who you are, your talent and you get to let them hear your message to them. It's been fun and nice lately, especially the fans. They mean a lot to us. We literally wouldn't be here without the people who supported us all the way.
"We're leaving when again?" I suddenly asked, looking up at Ashton.
"Duh, tomorrow," Ashton said.
Holy mother of cheese balls. Tomorrow. Why didn't I know that? Or maybe I just forgot abut it?
"Oh," I said, zipping up my luggage bag. "Are we done? 'Cause we still need to go to sound heck."
"Yeah, I am done," Ashton said, ruffling his hair as he looked into the mirror.
"Let's go then," I said, standing up and dusting myself.
"Aren't we going to tell anyone about us going home?" Ashton asked.
"I don't know," I admitted.
"Let's go ask Luke and Michael," he said, opening the bedroom door for us.
•Kristen's POV•
No. This cannot be. What the hell, Kristen. Why now. Why just now. Holy cricket.
I sat on my couch inside my hotel room next to Annie. She' helping me pack my things. Well, mostly she's the one packing them because I am busy sorting out my feelings... for Calum.
I'm breathing heavily. I should stop my feelings. It all started when they came to my show. When he warped his arm around me. When he wanted me to meet his family. When he wanted me to come home with him to Sydney. Ah, Sydney. I miss my hometown. The last time I was there was probably when I was in middle school.
Calum. Why am I even starting to like that boy? I don't know him. He doesn't know me. And most of all, we're pretending. We aren't really together. We aren't really into each other... until these feelings came up.
"Kristen, are you okay?" Annie asked.
"Uh, yeah," I said. "Are we done packing?"
"Hmm, yeah, we are," she nodded. "But are you sure you're okay? You've been quiet for, like, a full 30 minutes."
"I have a very big problem," I sighed. "So much for plan." I grunted. "Why does this have to happen!" I shouted.
"Wait, 'so much for plan'?", Annie asked. "What the hell do you mean?"
I bit my lip and smiled.
Annie frowned. "Seriously, K?" She said.
"I think so," I muttered.
"You know what, it's actually fine," she said. "I mean, he has no girlfriend and he likes you and the people know you're together and now, you like him back and probably-"
"Annie!" I cut her off. "He has someone he loves. They're not together but he loves this girl. And obviously, she knows him better and we're like, paying a visit to Sydney. They might see each other again and-"
"Honey," she cut me off this time. "She can't do anything now, right?"
"No but Annie, what about when they find out about me and Stella knowing each other?"
She bit her lip this time. "Are they going to kill you?" she asked.
"Both of us," I said. "Probably, they'd kill us too."
Annie scoffed. "They can't. Calum won't allow them to."
"No, Annie," I said. "When Cal finds out, he'll get mad too. At me for one, because he'll find out he's most likely been set up because all this pretending thing was already planned. And at Stella for two, because she made all of this happen."
"Do you wanna tell Stella about the boys coming home?"
"No," I said. "I have no right."
"Okay, I'll give time for yourself," Annie said, standing up. "I'll be at the lounge, kay?"
I nodded and she opened the door and went out of the room.
I sighed, sitting on my bed. What now? I somehow have feelings for Calum, Stella hasn't fucking contacted me if she still wants me to watch over Lucas fuckin' Hemmings, I mean, if she diesn't want me to anymore, she could've just told me earlier so I could just leave Perth and go back to LA and not have feelings for Hood!
I aggressively snatched my phone from the nightstand and went to me and Stella's conversation.
To: Stella
SMM, you have to be fuckin' kidding me. Do you even still want me to watch over Luke for you? You haven't even contacted me in days! Put your shit together! Dammit.
I pressed send and grunted. Damn it, Stella. No one knows about what we did yet and someone's already mad at her. It's me. Mainly because if she's still so into Hemmings, she's supposed to be texting me or calling me, right? But it seems like she doesn't care anymore. I have to find out what's happening to her.
If not, I'm doing things by myself.
