Plane Door (Chapter 18)

•Luke's POV•

I woke up at the sound of my phone ringing. I grunted and checked who it was.

"Ashton is Calling" it said.

I answered it.

"Wake up, Lukey, today's the flight," he said over the phone. He sounded so upbeat and ready.

"Yeah, I'm readying myself," I lied.

"Mhm, yeah, no. Get up and get ready, bye," Ashton said and hung up. I can't believe he knew I just got up. Probably it's because of my husky morning voice (da freaaaak).

I got up and immediately went to the shower. When I got out, I went to my wardrobe and got a white tank and some jeans and slippers. I guess that's okay for a flight to Perth.

I went to my mirror and fixed my hair and placed on a beanie, a solution to bad hair days.

Anyways, after that, I hurried and grabbed my phone, iPod and chargers and for one last time. Before I went out of my room, I looked back. It's almost empty. The pink speakers are still there though. I don't need to bring them with me.

I explored the whole room with my eyes and smiled.

"I'll be back soon," I said to myself.

"Luke, lets go!" I heard Ben call.

I hurried downstairs and carried my bags to my mum's car.

"Are you ready?" my mom asked as she placed a hand on my arm.

"Yeah, I am," I answered.

We drove to the airport. It was early. I got out of the car and looked around.

At the entrance, I saw three other guys waving at me. Ah, yes. There they are.

I got my bags out and carried them to the entrance. Inside was Cal, Mikey, and Ash. They were with their families. I saw Joy, Cal's mum, his dad, and Mali and Trisha. She was there already. I also saw Ash's mum and Harry and Lauren. Mikey had his mum with him.

"This is it assholes," Michael said as we met each other.

I sighed. "I wonder what's waiting for us there," I said.

"Probably cameras, girls, paps-"

I glared at Ashton as he said that.

"The fuck, man?" I said. "You're with Jess."

"Yeah I know, I was joking," he laughed.

"They said they're on their way," Trisha said as she looked up from her phone.

We nodded and took a seat. Calum sat next to me, Ashton and Michael across from us and Trisha was sitting on Calum.

We started doing nothing. Ash was on his phone, Mikey was kicking my chair, Calum and Trisha were thumb wrestling and surprisingly, Trisha won 3 fights in a row. It's funny how I managed to watch them play. They always keep us entertained, anyway.

Ashton suddenly stood up and pointed behind us. "There they are," he said.

I looked back to see them there. Audrey, Julie, Risa, Jess... But where's Stella?

"Where's Stella?" I asked Audrey.

"She didn't show up in the meeting place, Lukey," she said.

"And she hasn't texted any of us," Risa added.

I looked at them confused. "Alright, thanks," I said and sat down on the chair once again.

"It's one hour till the flight, Lucas," Calum said.
