•Luke's POV•
Our arrival at the airport was pretty okay. None of what Ashton said yesterday happened. Well, except for the paps. Some cameras and actually some girls Were there to meet us and took pictures with us. It's amazing because we know some people already support us even if we're not big yet.
I opened my eyes to find myself not in my room but in a hotel room which I share with Michael. We checked in yesterday and today, we're meeting the 1D boys.
I know I should be excited, I mean I am but all I could think about is Stella. I miss her already. I know we're over but she's still my best friend, right?
I was in my boxers, under the thick and large comforters of my bed. I lay stomach down on my phone and went on to twitter.
@Luke5SOS: It's a sunny day in Perth! Hoping to meet you all :-)
I immediately got about 400 retweets and 600 Favorites 3 minutes after I tweeted. A lot of them were tweeting me too. Some asking for follow backs, which I did, and some sending me sweet tweets.
I smiled at the thought of this. What should we call these fans ours? They're special to us. They're the reasons why we do this.
I turned to see a Michael, sleeping on his bed. Probably this guy's really tired. He's been sleeping so often after we got here.
I could still remember when we both were angry with each other because of the incident with Stella. That was a memory to cherish, actually. Because it made our friendship stronger.
"Lucas? Mikey?" I heard Ashton call from outside our door.
I got up and opened it for him.
"Good morning, fuckers," he laughed and made his way inside the room.
Following him was Calum, still in his pajamas.
'I should ask Cal about what he feels like about Trisha, shouldn't I?' I thought to myself. I mean, it's better to get some opinions right?
"Come on, guys. We have to be in the venue at 9 am," Ashton said, waking Michael up. "And it's 7:30!"
"Chill, Ash," Calum said, plopping himself down on my bed.
—————
The venue was pretty big. We got inside after the van parked.
As soon as we got in the inner part of the building, we found the dressing rooms. "5SOS" it said on one room. "One Direction" it said on the other.
We went inside to find a lady with platinum blonde hair.
"Ah, you're the boys from 5SOS," she said, spelling out the "es-oh-es".
"Oh, actually, you say it as five 'sauce'," Mikey explained and she just mouthed the word "Oh".
"Well then, I'm Lou," she smiled. "I'm One Direction's stylist and now, I'm yours too!"
"We have a stylist?" Calum whispered to me.
"Of course!" she exclaimed, getting up from her seat. "Well, I'm gonna call the boys to meet you now," she said and went out of the dressing room.
I looked at the three other goons with me and shrugged.
"What time's the show tonight?" Calum asked.
"Hmmm, about 7 pm," Ashton said, looking at a paper stuck on a wall.
We all went near it and found out it was a schedule. I scanned the whole paper. 3 shows in Perth then we're going to London. The fuck?
"Uh, we're going to London the day after the last show?" Calum asked.
"Guess so," I said. "Though we don't have extra clothes..."
"That's the least of your worries," someone said from behind us.
We turned around to see Niall Horan enter the room. Followed by Zayn then Harry then Louis and them Liam.
"It's a pleasure to meet you boys," Louis smiled, with his British accent.
"Uh, thanks for choosing us though," Mikey said.
"No worries," Liam said. "We're also honoured to be with you lads."
"You'll be meeting the band in a while," Zayn said.
"For the mean time, we're gonna have to be knowing each other," Harry said.
For some reason, my stomach was nervous. The first real show was tonight, we're meeting the 1D boys who chose us to support their tour and we're all just so fuckin' excited.
The day was long and we had lunch and snacks with the boys. They were all so nice to us. And for the first time, I actually felt so happy. Why? Because Im actually reaching my dreams. Despite all the happenings back home...
On the way back to the hotel, I could see that Calum became silent. We were in the van, us two at the back and Michael and Ashton in front.
"Hey Calum," I said.
"Yeah?" he answered. "What's up?"
"Uh, are you okay?" I said, trying not to look so pushy.
"Yeah I am," he said.
•Calum's POV•
I definitely am not okay, Lucas. I miss Trisha, I want to go back and right now, I just want to stab myself.
"Yeah, I am," I said, instead. But I should be happy, right? I mean, we're a bit famous now and tonight's our first show.
"Look, I know you miss Trisha," Luke said, making me turn to him again.
"Yeah, but we're over and I should move on, right?" I said, trying not to sound bitter.
"Y-yeah," Luke stuttered. Goddamn you Hemmo. You are one of the most awkward-est people in this universe.
"You can't seem to move on from Stella, now can you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I, yeah, you're right," he admitted. "Its hard, you know. She means everything to me."
"But you know what's the hard part, Lucas?"
"Yeah?"
"It's when she moves on already," I said. I probably hit him hard with that but it's way fuckin' true. We should be expecting this expecting this anyway.
"Hey guys, do you have the list of songs?" Ashton asked from in front.
"I, yeah, I do," Luke said and started going through his backpack. Soon, he pulled out a piece of paper.
"For tonight's show, we're doing covers," Luke said as he handed the paper to Ashton. "Tomorrow will be our first writing session."
"Writing session?" Michael asked. "What will we even write about?"
"I don't know but we have to write songs," Luke sighed.
I slouched on my chair and placed my SnapBack on my face.
"You know what Cal? All my heart wants to do is come home," is all I remember from what Luke said.
