•Stella's POV•

I woke up with a really bad back pain. I checked my phone and saw the time. 9:45 am. I am definitely not going to go to school again today. 1) because I'm already late and 2) because of my injured body.

I felt my lip and it was still swollen. I got up from her and headed for the bathroom to wash my face. I haven't talked or contacted any of my friends since yesterday, I thought. I wonder what's happening to me.

As soon as I'm done in the bathroom, I went back inside my room to grab a towel and went back to take a shower. The warm water was calming down my nerves. I leaned in to make my hair wet and as soon as it was, I lathered it with my shampoo. I don't have any plans today, really. Probably Audrey and the others are in school. So I couldn't invite anyone... not even Luke.

Memories of the blonde dude started filling up inside my mind. It's the first time it happened after a week of not being with him. I remember the time when we used to watch them practice football. HHe'd occasionally glance up at me to check if I was looking. I remember the dinner with his family. Now, I couldn't even get the chance to talk to any of his brothers or even step on their front step anymore. I remember the time we were sleeping under the stars and he- he sang this beautiful song that he said wasn't finished yet. I never even got the chance to ask him what if was.

Everything. Every little thing he did for me. Every little thing he showed me about him. I miss it. I really do.

But I guess being with Kellin is the first step to moving on. I needed someone to be with me. Sure, There's Julie or Audrey or even Larrisa but I need someone to care like Kellin.

I wrapped myself with my towel and headed for my room. I opened up my wardrobe and checked on what I could wear for the day. Probably, I'd just roam around the whole town and enjoy this day. I picked out white jeans, a green tank top and my converse and grabbed my phone and went outside.

I checked my brother's room for no particular reason and saw him sleeping on his bed. I guess he forgot to lock the door last night. I went inside and saw the reason why. His TV was turned on and a video game console was attached to his Playstation.

Kian was in his long pocketed shorts with his white shirt on. His Supras were still on his feet.

"Damn, this boy's totally smashed," I said.

I went near him and and shook his shoulder. He didn't make a nerve move.

"Kian, get up," I said. "Schoooooooool!"

When I shouted, he totally sprang from lying down on his bed to sitting.

"What? What?" he said, his eyes still sleepy.

"Dude, we're late for school," I said, sitting beside him. "But I'm not going anymore."

"Why is that?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm lazy," I admitted. "And I'm swollen all over."

He turned to look at me and mouthed "oh". "I didn't see your busted lip yesterday."

"Well then, brother," I said. "You need glasses."

"No, thank you," he chuckled, standing up.

"Wanna hang out?" I asked before he went to his bathroom.

"Pizza?" he smiled like a lunatic.

I gave him a questioning look and he frowned. He slowly went inside his bathroom.

"Fine!" I called. "Pizza!"

He came running outside again and gave me weird faces. "Thank you thank you thank you!!" he shouted.
