12: You And Me

-Draco's P.O.V-

I couldn't help but bring my hand up, brushing my thumb over her cheek, leaning towards her. But I quickly stopped myself... I couldn't do that to her "I don't deserve you" I whispered.

"Yes you do..." She said leaning into me.

Our lips met... It was like being shot in the stomach with a spell. Her lips moved with mine like they were meant to be together. Hermione, sweet, beautiful, kind, forgiving Hermione... The girl I've liked since I was eleven, the girl I loved since I was fourteen... She kissed me and I kissed her back before she pulled away slowly.

She rested her hands on my upper chest, near my shoulders and looked up at me with her big honey brown eyes.

"I-..I'm  sorry I shouldn't have-" I started to say worried she was mad or upset with me... Because she would never have let me do that... But she cut me off.

"Shut up would you" She cut me off, wrapping her arms around me and pulling me into a hug "If I'm correct you almost kissed me but I was the one to actually kiss you" She said in her know-it-all voice.

Oh... I guess she did... She did! She kissed me! Does that mean... She cares for me too?

I hugged her back "I uh... guess you did..." I said still in shock.

She then tucked her face down more so it rested on my shoulder and we stood there... Holding each other. This is all I ever wanted... Her.

Suddenly a flash of lightning lit the room with a horribly loud crash of thunder. Hermione jumped slightly in my arms.

"Scared Granger?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"You wish Malfoy" She narrowed her eyes at me.

Another boom of thunder echoed through in which she grabbed on to me tightly. I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"So the great Hermione Granger can battle against Death Eaters and survive... But she is scared of thunder?" I asked chuckling.

She pouted and smacked my arm.

"Ow! Merlin Hermione!" I said rubbing my arm.

"It's just... With that kind of thing you always have a wand to protect you... You can save yourself... But lightning is unpredictable... Mother Nature is unpredictable and can take you down without any warning... And your wand cant do a thing about it" She confessed.

I smirked "Don't worry... I'll protect you" I said putting my arm around her.

"My hero" She said sarcastically.

Suddenly another crack of thunder with a flash of lightning boomed louder then the others. Hermione let out a small sheik. This time I started full on laughing.

"Not funny!" She pouted.

"Very funny" I smirked down at her.

"Can we go... It's so creepy in here..." She huffed.

"Yeah sure" I said and we started our way out, weaving around the spider-web covered clutter.

"So you okay?" She asked.

"Fine now" I smirked.

"So cocky" She rolled her eyes.

"My specialty!" I retorted.

After we got out of the R.O.R we headed to the Common Room. Once there I sat on the couch.

"We should talk..." She said sitting by me.

No... Please no... At this point I was just horrified she was going to say... this isn't gonna work or something!

"What are we now?" She asked.

I looked at her confused "What do you want to be?" I asked.

"Draco" She sighed.

"What?" I asked worried.

"We just kissed..." She breathed.

"Hermione... I..." I sighed "I want you" I confessed.

She looked at me with soft eyes "Really?" She asked.

"Yeah... I have for longer then you know" I said moving a bit closer to her as we sat.

She smiled at me.

"So... W-would you be mine?" I asked.

"Of course Draco" She smiled bigger and hugged me again.

I smiled, this was all I ever wanted... Her, with me... together... It's all I ever wanted.
