Chapter 8: Looking Out For You
Carter's POV
I was in Scarlet's room because I left the math book for my class at my apartment. I doubt she will care if I borrow a book. She hasn't arrive yet so I doubt she will catch me in the act. I couldn't stop smirking yesterday after part one of my plan worked. Now many steps ahead but hey now no one is going to stop me.
All of the sudden I hear a bang I jumped and looked behind it was Scarlet giving me a glare " Is there something you need Carter."
Yah ......... I n-n-n-need to see the math book. I left mine. I said now stutering again
Well what makes you think you can borrow mine. She says walking over to where I am
Um....... i am so sorry Scarlet I just thought you wouldn't mind .I feel so sorry. I said so fast
She laughs and put her hand on my should and my whole body feels like an eletric shot went through my whole body. I looked up to her and she says " I was joking. Go ahead and use it."
I sigh and said " T-t-t-thanks."
She takes out a stack of papers and puts it all the desk and walks to the back of the room to look over somethng and ontop of the stack I see a crayon drawing. I grabbedit and looked it.
On the picture it said I Love you Mom - T. It was like a kindergarten since it was all messy but you can see the words clearly. I smiled if only this was our child's drawing I would have been more than happy. New addition to my plan get the kids to like me. Yah that will be easy I am a likeable person.
Your son draw that? I asked showing this
She looks up and says " Yah he did. I must of put that in my bag when I was a rushed out the door."
Whats the hurry? I asked
Packing the kids clothing and mine too. She says taking the picture
Your moving?? I said now getting scared of my plan not even going to step2. Come on this was an awesome plan.
Wolf: Sure it is...
Me: You shut up! For once
No I am not moving. The family and I are going to visit Stefan and come back. Stefan been complaining about seeing the twins so we are going to visit him. She says
I ask was Stefan approved of you and Connor dating? He never let you date any guy? I asked
She laughs and says " Surprisly everyone in the family was betting each other. Both of our mothers were planning the wedding which was creepy. They knew we meant for each other or something."
O yah they are so meant for each other. Wait till the family saw me they would have to returned everything back because Scarlet and I are so meant for each other not Scarlet and Connor. Urgh! Stupid Stefan approves of Connor and me that is messed up!
The bell rang and I walked to my classroom and sigh.......
This was going to be an hard plan her still communicating with Stefan might be bad thing. but not this time. Stefan is not going to get in the way between my mate and I.. I am going to get my mate no one is going to stop me.
