Chapter 26: Suspicious

Before I begin I like to say I read some of the comments and I like how you people think.....

Chapter 26: Suspicious  

 Carter's POV

              O GOD! I said running over to the body that was beaten up

        We have to get him to the pack house now. Jared says

                   I lifted the man. That man was beaten up. He face had a claw mark on his right cheek. He looked so pale and everything. Clothes torn about. His left eye was swallen and he was beaten up very good. So those were wolves on the phone.

     We ran back to the car while I was lifting him on my back. As we got to the car I put him the back. I drove like crazy back to the pack house. Jared was the phone with Bryan telling him everything while I drive like a crazy person down the roads.

            As we got to the pack house the pack doctor was there. Jared and I lifted him inside the house to a room. As we placed him on the bed the doctor ordered us to get out of the room. We did what we were told.

                  When we got out there was Bryan and the second beta in charge Felix. We walked outside the house and Jared says "So he was right. Wolves did this."

           But it doesn't make sense. Why her? Felix says

            Maybe because she is Carter's mate.  Jared says

    But are pack hasn't had any fights with no locals packs or any in years. Bryan says

            Maybe we upset a pack. I said

      No they would have attacked us not her. Not to hurt your feelings or anything Carter but she must be involve something for a pack to attack her. Felix says

              I am starting to think that now. I said

                 I say we get a background check on her and her husband. See if there is anything because if wolves call war they just don't hurt the humans unless they are connected to the other pack. Bryan says

           Is that an order? Felix asked

                   Bryan looked at me and I nodded and said "It's an order" with that Felix ran off doing what he was told. We were going to find out everything about Scarlet and Connor. The secrets will come out........

                Connor's POV

              Who told you wolves burn down the house Bells? I asked her quickly 

      Carter. He was telling Uncle Jared about wolves. Do you believe in wolves daddy? She explains

             Yeah.......What else did you hear from Uncle Jared and Carter? I asked wanting to know

       Something about a phone call and a man screaming. What's an Alpha daddy? Bells asked
