Chapter 39: I Promise

Scarlet's POV

                  I was face to face with Connor. He smiled at me and I said "Connor is that you?"

"You can see me?" Connor says

  "Yeah.....I told them you weren't dead." I said

         All of the  sudden Connor walks over to me and reaches out to touch my face but his hand goes right through me. A tear escaped my eyes it falls down. I sigh and said "You can't be dead."

"I am babe. I did it for you." He says

   I was rocking little Connor to sleep and I said "You killed yourself......what about me and your family? Do you care about us? If you did care you would sitll be alive."

     "Scarlet, look at me." He says

      I put my head down and all of the sudden I felt his fingers and I looked up and said "How did you do that?"

  "I concentrated. I wanted to touch you one time. If I concentrate really hard I can touch you, but I am not going to to touch you because that is holding you back." Connor says

      "How is that holding me back? I miss you Connor. You are my life." I said through tears

He laughs and says "I miss you too. It's weird being dead. I thought I would feel so much lighter but I guess I am wrong I feel the same. There are tons of reasons why I did what I did."

         "You didn't love me?" I said

"I loved you and the twins with my new born son. You all are my world. I did this so you can be happy with someone else. I think you know who I mean?" He says

          "Carter...." I said in a whisper

"Yes him." Connor says

"I love you Connor. I want to only be with you no one else." I said

"Your attracted to Carter as well as to me.... Why? Becuase he is your soul mate." Connor says

 "Your my soul mate." I said in a whisper

"I am.. Carter and myself are your soul mate. While you are Carter's and myself soul mate. You are the only girl who has two soul mates. Now that I lived my life with you it's Carter's turn to have his life with you. You two are perfect for each other. The kids love him."  Connor says

              I was quiet because how do you react or comment on what Connor just said...No words can come out of my mouth... I wanted to say he was wrong but it was all true.....

      "I am going to go." Connor sayss

"NO!!" I yelled

       Connor looks at me and I said "You can't leave me, your son, or your family...You can't. Please."

   I see Connor close his eyes and with that I felt a squeeze on my hand and he says " I am not going anywhere....I'll crossover when I think the time is right.... I can't be around you Scarlet. You must move on. I love you so much. I did this for you. Just listen to Liam he will help you out. Goodbye Scarlet...."

             All of the sudden Connor walked out of the room before I can say something..... My heart broke into millions of pieces......... 

   All of the sudden a knock on the door. I looked up to see Liam. He smiles at me and walks over to me and looks at Connor Jr. and says "Looks a lot like Connor but he has your nose."

"You want to carry him?" I asked

   Liam nods and holds Connor Jr. while he was carrying Connor Jr. I broke down. Liam grabs a chair and holds one of my hands and says "Why are you crying?"

  "I can't take.....I need Connor. Connor............" I sobbed

           Liam rocks Connor Jr.  and says "Your not alone......."

"I am Liam..." I said

"Your not Alpha." He smiling still holding my hand

"Alpha? What is an Alpha? Are you making fun of me?" I asked

He laughs and says "Alpha is an honor. Alpha is a leadr of a pack of wolves which you are. Connor past his title of Alpha down to you. Then when Tristan is old enough he will be Alpha after he transform...."

          "WHAT!! When my son what!!" I yelled

"Transform into a wolf.Your daughter will also transform even C.J over here will transform into a wolf. Don't worry they will transform when they are twelve or thirteen since Alpha blood runs through them." Liam says

    All of the sudden the nurse comes in and says "It's time to put Connor Jr. to sleep. By the way Ms. Wilson you and your son are  going to be release tommorrow."

  I nodded and as she took my son away. My heart broke. She called me "Ms. Wilson" I haven't been called that since the day before my wedding.  That right there made me realize Connor was dead and he wasn't my husband anymore...........

   "It's okay...." Liam says

   I hugged him and said "I miss him so much........"

"I do to....." He says

   All of the sudden he grabs my hand and says "I promised Connor I would take care you and your family. I plan on keeping that promise. I will always be there for you Scarlet."

           

         Okay so I end here.....With Scarlet and Liam.... Man I like this couple....  I was just writing and thought why not but this into the twist...I can't have Scarlet and Carter become a couple quickly....It will be no fun... So I throw in Liam..... So I wrote and Connor is still in this story he is just a ghost that Scarlet can see....... maybe even Carter who knows....

Q: Is Liam going to be there for Scarlet and push Carter away from her?
