Chapter 22: O GREAT!!
Carter's POV
I ran throught the door breaking it into pieces causing more of a fire behind me. I landed on a blanket that was on the floor. Thankfully it wasn't on fire. While I got myself out I felt the huge heat wave hit me on the face more like a slap.
It was so hot in here. I needed to get out here quick. Smoke was everywhere. I grabbed the blnaket off the floor and started searching for Scarlet as quick as I can.
SCARLET! SCARLET! I yelled through the house
No answer. God she better be alive. I can barly stand a world with my mate with another guy but without her I will be crushed. So I kept looking in the kitchen. She wasn't here. Then it hit me. HER ROOM!
Scarlet must be sleeping but woke up and can't leave her room. So I grabbed the blanket and poure some water on it. I wrapped myself around it. I was about to walk the hall when the ceiling came down blocking the hallway.
O GREAT! I shouted
Fire was storming up smoke was everywhere. I couldn't inhale much so I covered it with my wet blanket. How in the world do I get over there? I thought about it and there was no solution unless I do the stupid way in there. I nodded.
This is all for Scarlet and her kids. So with that I took a steps that wans't on fire and ran jumped in the air. Jumping over the fire. I rolled on the floor and said "That wasn't bad." then I walked into Scarlet room and of course the door was block with fire.
Come on! I thought to myself.
The door was on fire and no way out. So I tackled the door landing on the floor and luckily not on fire. While I started coughing since I inhaled smoke. There on the floor was Scarlet she was passed out. I ran over to her.
Scarlet wake up. I said shaking her lightly since she was pregant
No answer
Scarlet don't you dare give up on me. I said shaking her
No answer
I started giving her C.P.R and I pressed my lips on hers and giving her air while pumping her heart. "COME ON SCARLET! YOU HAVE KIDS AND A HUSBAND! " I did the same thing for a while and I heard in a low whisper "Carter."
There you go Scarlet. Come on. Stay with me. I siad blowing into her
Then she says in another low whisper "Love........." with that I picked her up bridal style and said "The hospital is going to deal with you. If we don't leave now we are both dying."
With that I carried her out her room and saw the hallway was blocked more. I couldn't jumped that and I can't tackle through it. We were screwed. I looked around and saw no way out. O god, I was going to die with my mate in my hands.
NO! I had to get Scarlet out of here because Scarlet needs to be with her family. Then I heard a cough and I looked down to see Scarlet coughing and she looks up at me "Carter."
Yeah I got you babe. Now we need to get out of here,but there is no way out. I said
The twin's room. She coughed out pointing to the door on the left.
