Chapter 34: One Way Cure
Connor's POV
" There has to be way. THERE HAS TO BE A GOD DAM WAY!" I shouted knocking over a table
"Calm down bro!" Carter says
"Calm down! HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN! SHE IS MY MATE AND I CAN'T DO ANTHING BUT SIT AND JUST WATCH HER DIE!!" I yelled
"SHE IS MY MATE TOO! YOU DON'T SEE ME FREAKING OUT!!" Carter says
I took a deep breath and said "Your right....... but we have to do something Carter. We have to save her."
"I know but how?" Carter says
"I don't know....If I was still Alpha I would know but right now I have no experience." I said
"Join the club." Carter says
We hear a knock on the door we both turned to see Stefan and my father and my pack standing there. I get up and hug them all and I embrace Stefan and he says "Is she sleeping?"
"She is dying." Carter says
"O GOD!!" Stefan says pushing his way toward Scarlet
"I am sorry man your mate is dying." Edwin says (remember him)
"No comment." I said
"Everyone go wait in the waiting room. Leave us all alone." My dad says
"BUT!!!" Everyone in the pack starts to shout
"No buts everyone leave now!" My dad orders
Everyone sighs and they leave. Leaving just Stefan, Carter, myself, and my father in the room with Scarlet. My dad was a scaring man. He always got what he wanted and if he didn't get ..... my dad will do anything to get what he wanted. The thing he wanted and didn't get. Was me being Alpha. He wanted me to be Alpha but I never did because I never wanted Scarlet to have the life as Alpha female. My dad hated me so much for not protraying destiny.......
My father still hates me. He looks at Carter and raises an eyebrow. I noddd and then he says "Your the other mate of Scarlet?"
"Yes sir. You are?" Carter asked
"Ralph William. Connor's father." He says
"Nice to meet you sir." Carter says
"So your a dead beat like my son here. Step down from the title of Alpha. No wander wh you both got the same mae. Both act the same." My dad says
"Don't listen to him. He has holding that grudge since my wedding." I said
"Sir, I am not dead beat. Just because I refused title of Alpha doesn't make me a dead beat." Carter says
"You were born a leader like my son. Both chose not to do the job you were born to have. All for Scarlet. Now look where we are now. She is dying on your watch. If both of you would have took your title both of you would know what to do instead of standing there doing nothing." My father said
"SHUT UP!" Carter and I both yelled
"I am telling the truth. Connor come outside with me I want to talk to you." My dad says
