Chapter 20: Park

   Carter's POV

               I was walking around the park because I had nothing to do since my life is ruined because of Connor. He took my mate, the marriage, and even the kids (if Scarlet and I did have kids). Everything Connor had with Scarlet was suppose to be with me not him.

      Walking down the sidewalk I was walking out the pain for the first time sinc the healing. After Connor and I fight I been in pain and had to call in sick. So this was my first time walking around. I needed fresh air since I was sick of my apartment.

                 While walking inside the park I see little kids playing soccer, kids running around the playground chasing each other. Other kids on the swings. Then teens walking around gossiping about who knows what. Then as I was walking by the playground I see two little kids.

    I smirked and then I hear " CARTER!! CARTER!!"

          All of the sudden Isabella and Tristian were running toward me. I scopped up both kids in my arms and smiled saying "Hey kiddos."

             I missed you Carter. Isabella says

   Me too. Tristian says

   I put them down and said "Yeah I missed you kids too. So who brought you to the park?"

           Mommy. Daddy and Uncle Stefan went to go see Grandpa. It was Enermergency. Tristian says

     You know Uncle Stefan right? Isabella says

    Yeah Uncle Stefan and I buddies. Not friends but buddies. I explained

             We asked daddy why don't we see you. He says you are with friends and work. Daddy got a cut on his hand too. Isabella says

   Well, I am never busy for you kids. Now let's go find your mommy. I said grabbing each on of their hand and walking off where they dragged me. While I held each of their hands this made me more jealous of Connor. He got kids. I always wanted a kids.

        MOMMY!! Look who we found. Isabella says

   I looked up to see Scarlet looking up with her green eyes. She meets my eyes and says "Carter."

  Hey Scarlet. The kids saw me and attacked me. I said laughing

   She smiles and says "They really like you which is strange because it takes time for them to like someone new into their lives espically Tristian."

            I guess I am awesome. I said smirking

   Now let's not get cocky. She says standing up

        While she got up you can see the bump already. She wasn't sad to show it though. Her skin glowed more making her look happier. I smiled at the sight of her and to breath her strawberry scent that always followed her.

   Kids, go play before we need to go home. I am going to talk to Carter. She says

          TAG YOUR IT! Isabella says tagging Tristian and running off

  Isabella wait up! Tristain says then runs off

    I sat down on the bench next to her and said "Th kids told me Connor left?"

  Yeah his dad needed someting from him. He left this morning. She says

            I laughed and she looks at me and says "What's so funny?"
