Chapter 25: Second Daddy
Carter's POV
What the hell was that? Who was that? Why did he scream? O god and how did he know I was a werewolf? He must of bee a wolf or an elder. I need to talk to Jared. He is still in the pack..... I go to some meetings but I am not part of the pack since I gave the power Bryan.
I walked back inside and I said "Scarlet..... . I got to go"
Is everything okay Carter. You seem different. Scarlet questioned me
I am perfect, fine, smooth. I got to go. I said going to get my keys which were on the stand
Scarlet grabbed my wrist and says "Carter your not telling me something."
It's fine Scarlet...... nothing to worry about. I got to go. I said taking her hand off me
Connor noticed this. He questioned me and said "Carter are you alright?"
Fine. I got to go talk to Jared about something. Will bring the kids later. I said then ran out of there
While I got into my car I immediatly drove like crazy to my house. My mind was going crazy. Werewolves burn the house. Burned down of Scarlet. Why Scarlet? I heard growls in the background. So wolves were responsible.
I pulled out my phone and called Bryan. It rang two times before he finaly answered me.
Bryan: Hey Cart..... What up?
Me: I want you to do me a favor bro?
Bryan: Sure. What is it?
Me: I want you to smell the diameter of Scarlet's house. See if you find a new scent.
Bryan: Sure..... Why?
Me: I will tell you after you go. Then report to me
Bryan: Sure thing bro. This must be serious you gone all Alpha on me.
Me: Bryan this is not a time to joke. Go do the job now.
Bryan: Yes sir. Bye

I parke the car in the garage and got out. Walkng into the house I see Jared watching tv with no kids. They must be sleeping which was good because I didn't want the kids to hear this. This was serious if that guy was right then that means the pack was in danger and so was Scarlet because there has to be reason why they attacked her and not the pack.
