Adrianna

"Adrianna, you're telling me all these great things but there is one thing to ask you,"

"What is it?" I ask my therapist who is sitting in the chair opposite from me. It was good to see her again- tell her how I've been doing.

"Are you happy?"

"Wait what?" Happy with what?

"Writing. Your friends. Your family. Yourself. Are you satisfied? That's the important thing. You've been through so much and now it's all changing as you've told me, it could be a lot to take in and I just want to make sure you're alright."

"Yeah, I'm great. I haven't been better honestly. I just am confused with this whole Luke situation. Do I love him still? Or is it the feeling that I've grown attached too?"

"That's up for you to decide. I'd go with your heart. Just put your health in front of everyone. I know how you can be, you want everyone's happiness before yours and sometimes that drives the mind all 'coo coo'."

"Yeah, I've been really taking time and thinking and reflecting. I'm going to get there miss, I'm restoring my happiness."

I stood with my hands in my pockets in the cold, well it's California it's not cold waiting for that person to come. I self consiously moved my hand to straighten the beanie I had on, and to fix the curls underneath it. I looked around at the street in front of me, watching the cars go by in a mad rush of honking and beeping. I felt someone's presence beside me. He was here.

"You ready?" He asked me.

I looked at him, in his jacket and ripped jeans. "Lead the way," I told him with a smile.

Since talking to Luke on the phone, he had informed me he had a special get together organized. It was fantastic according to Ashton and Calum. I wasn't nervous as such, but I had a feeling that what I was doing was not completely right. I just didn't think I deserved all of this from Luke.

We entered the restaurant which was completely empty like a ghost town but beautifully decorated. Did he reserve this whole place for me? Oh but then I realized that was an empty room held for parties. Wow stupid Adrianna.

We sat down and started a small talk between the tour that is starting up in February and my college and career.

He looked at me questioningly. "Why would you need a break from your life? It seems perfect. I mean, you have good friends, a good education. You're doing well in classes, and well, you're definetely not ugly. And you have me and the lads!" He playfully nudged me.

I smiled at him, but my cheeks didn't seem to flame up this time. "Thanks Luke, but I guess it's just me being too stressed. I'm still seeing that therapist. She's great. I know my life is definetely not as bad- it'll never come near as  people who struggle everyday, but it's not perfect, but I guess I am a lot better off then some people so I shouldn't be complaining."

I looked down because Luke didn't answer. He just started to look at me.  The restaurant was filled with a chatter and pretty soon a waitress came up to us. She eyed Luke noticeably, but he was looking at the menu and didn't seem to notice. But I did, but it didn't seem to bother me, weirdly. She probably recognized him.

"What would you like today?" She asked us.

"Um, I'll get a burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato and bacon" I told her. "Oh and bottomless fries and a Sprite please."

She jotted my order down and then looked up at Luke waiting for him. He's so indecisive sometimes. Especially over food.

"Uhh, I'll have a burger too with cheese and lettuce only."

"Any drink?"

"Water please."

As she walked away with the menus I turned to look at Luke who was playing with the sugar sticks in the plastic cup in the middle of the table. I smiled at him and suddenly my phone beeped.

I unlocked it as I read the text from Cara.

How is it going? - Cara

I looked up at Luke to see him on his phone as well so I figured it wouldn't be that rude to reply.

I guess it's ok. We haven't talked that much, but the restaurant is really nice. He seems a bit bored to tell you the truth. Any ideas on exciting conversation starters? I literally don't deserve to be here right now!!  - Adrianna

When I looked up again, Luke was looking at me with interest.

"Someone interesting?" He asked with a smile.

"Just Cara," I said with a slight laugh. Just then the waitress turned up with our drinks and I took a sip of my Sprite. It was really good, and when I told Luke, he just laughed.

"Soda?" He chuckles, "I never drink soda.. You know my mother."

"True," he says talking my hand into his.

"Are you fine Waverly?" He asks me looking concerned playing with his lip ring.

"Yeah, yeah everything's fine when I'm with you."

"Good, I love spending time with you

"Good, I love spending time with you." He says and I see him take a picture of the table and tweeted it. @Luke5SOS: Dinner date with my girl. X) *attachment image*

As our dinner ended Luke took me to the beach. We walked along the sand as the sun set and the night sky was colorful. We saw a few fans and took pics with them. Not a lot to target any paparazzi. Thank God.

"Luke?"

"Yes Waverly?" He smiles looking down at me.

"This reminds of me old times." I say, bring me back to the time when we loved each other and I wasn't insane. When Luke would protect me from the outside world and I'd be happy as can be. "Me too." He says and I lay my head on his shoulder.

"Let's relive those times again, Luke."
