Luke's pov

"Good morning, Theresa, is Adrianna awaken?" I ask as I rest my keys on the kitchen table and Adrianna's mother makes a pitcher of lemon water for the both of us.

"I don't think so, she's had some abdominal pain throughout the night though."

"Is that normal? Is she okay?" I ask almost immediately after. "Yeah, don't stress so much, Luke, she will be okay."

"Alright," I choke up, I can't bare to see her in pain, I would take all of it away just for her if I could.

I open my lock screen on my phone to look at the time. Theresa says she's probably getting up now. I couldn't wait to see my girl; she's so adorable I think I was finally going to propose to her tonight after showing her the house I bought for us.

"Waverly?!" I smile approaching her room.
I open her door and don't see my girlfriend on her bed.

Being the nervous ass I am, I begin to panic that my pregnant girlfriend was missing. "Fuck, Adrianna where are you?" I look around and couldn't seem to spot her.

"Luke?" Adrianna whimpers, I rush over to the balcony where Adrianna was clenching her stomach trying to walk towards me.

I bring her inside and try to calm her down.

"It hurts!" She squeezes her eyes shut as she cries. "Luke! Luke?! Where's my father?" Adrianna cries out.

I take a deep breath as I'm hugging her tight not knowing what to say to her. "He's not here, baby, he's not here." I bring her up and look at her. Does she need sleep? Is she not getting enough sleep? I was at rehearsals last night with the opening acts for the tour with Michael... I should have been here.

Does she need an ambulance? "Luke! Where is he?" Oh good God really? How am I supposed to tell my girlfriend her dad walked out on her and her mum years back? She knows this why is she asking this? It's an act of weakness. She's vulnerable.

"Baby girl, he's not with you anymore, I'm calling your mum up here. You need help." I breathe out and she bursts out crying again.

"Luke don't leave me!" She groans in so much pain. I sigh. "I never will leave you, Adrianna." I kiss her forehead and she clenches her stomach again.

"Come on, let's get you some help." She nods looking me in the eyes. At this point, I feel her pain; or at least some of it.

****

"I'm nervous," I say to Adrianna's mum while waiting for the doctor. I cross my fingers out of a nervous habit. Does this stuff usually happen with pregnant women?

"Don't be," she tells me just as the doctor walks to us in the waiting room.

"Doctor Montgomery," Theresa says shaking hands with the female doctor. "Hello Ms. Waverly, who's this handsome lad?" Doctor Montgomery says greeting me.

"He would be the father, Luke Hemmings." Theresa introduces, "hi," my nerves are out of control, I can't even talk.

"Oh we have a nervous one I see," Theresa and the doctor laugh as I sigh.

"Any news on my significant other?" I speak up, impatient and nervous.

"Ah, yes, due to Adrianna's record of anxiety and depression, this has been causing some discomfort on Adrianna's part but the fetuses are perfectly healthy."

"Fetuses? As in two?" I practically choke on my words, Theresa smiles brightly and claps her hands. "Yes sir, congratulations."
