flashback again

Luke's point of view

California is sick, not to mention the house I'm staying at. Calum's girlfriend's family treats you well. But the past day, al I kept thinking about was that girl, Adrianna. She has long hair and her eyes are gorgeous. She's silly and polite and I'd really love to get to know her.

Cara, Michael's sister is just like Adrianna, thus why they're so close. Honestly it's cool getting to know Michael's life before he moved back to Australia. He never really shared much about it which is strange because his family and friends back here are a pleasure.

I tell the lads that I'm off to bed and they all greet me goodnight. I arrive to Adrianna's bedroom and recognize her peacefully resting on the aero mattress. I told her nights ago that she should slumber in her bed, not to worry about I.

I walk over to the air mattress and stare down at Adrianna. She has a little baby snore which is adorable. I walk forward and barely use my strength to pick her up and place her in her real bed carefully without waking her.

I push some loose strands of hair behind her ear and tuck her in before changing into some sweats and drift off to sleep.

Adrianna

I walk up the staircase, Luke follows talking about how much he loves DisneyLand.

"We should go sometime, they just opened a new ride there, Space Mountain."

"I'd love to go, Adrianna but the paparazzi are not very fond of me right now and I wouldn't want to get everyone else caught up in this," he sighs. I never really thought of that. With all the one direction lads, the only rumors were about relationships, I'm not really the fangirl type so I'm not sure what's going on with his band; I should ask him.

"Oh, can I ask why the media is rough on you?" I look up at him raising an eyebrow. I stop at my room and he stops, confused why I stopped but he soon speaks up. "Uh, we'll talk about it another time..," he dismisses the topic and all I can feel was terrible for this boy, probably getting hate for reasons I don't understand.

After a couple awkward seconds I open my bedroom door. Luke walks in, we were about to go grab a bite to eat so we figured we should get changed since we were in sweats.

His eyes immediately go towards the balcony, the sun was setting and it was beautiful, we walked out and watched the sky change from pink to purple and from purple to blue.

I turned Luke's way, he was already looking my way. "Luke, what?" I laugh as he's brought back to reality. "Oh, I was just trying to figure out what color your eyes are."

"Hazel," I smile brightly up at him as the sunset twinkles in his eyes.

"Alright, it's getting chilly, let's go get some food, I'm starved."

To conclude the night, we all sat in my living room joking around and talking about the weirdest things. "Luke, you talk bunch of rubbish don't you?" Louis responds to the story Luke was telling about him and Calum facing a near death experience. "Mate, in my defense, you had to be there. Right Calum?"

"Huh what?" Cal rubs his eyes, it's been a long day for them all. Everyone laughs, Cara and Michael just left to return to their home for the night and Calum and Ali go into their room which leaves Louis, Luke and I.

"Well, I'm gonna get to bed now, you guys should too." Louis says as Luke and I say goodnight to him in unison.

"Woah that was totally freaky," Louis holds in his laugh to continue but fails dramatically. We all end up laughing till we break a sweat moments later.

"You guys are both funny, you'd be cute together."

"What?" We both said together, again. I look at Louis, then Luke. Did he just say we'd be cute together? I just met the guy; although he literally is breath taking.

Oh quit the nonsense, Adrianna. It's not like Luke would ever date a weirdo like you.

"Uhh, goodnight Louis." Luke says sternly as he stares directly at me. We both walk up the stairs in silence, wait for each other to be done with the bathroom in silence and finish getting ready for bed in silence.

"Adrianna, are you still shaken up from what Lou said?" The blonde looks at me with furrowed eyebrows and a smile.

"Ah, nah. Why? Are you?" I quickly say turning around. Luke steps in front of me, concerned about my actions. "Well then why are you deep in thought?"

"Honestly I was just thinking of breakfast tomorrow," I laugh and he playfully rolls his eyes. "What? It's not like what Louis said would even happen," I say, I'm realistic right? There's no way Luke would- "you're doing it again, Adrianna."

"Am not." I huff walking into the bathroom. "So you're saying you haven't thought of you and I?" He asks, his blue eyes meet my hazel.

"I just met you Luke, I- why does it even matter?" I sass him. "Because I was thinking about it." He says honestly.

"Well in all honesty," I begin, "I am caught between you and Ashton, all day you two really caught my attention!" I try to keep it serious but I start laughing.

Now this has me thinking, Ashton: brown hair, eyes similar to mine, literally the sweetest person ever. Or Luke? Blue eyed- dimpled blondie? Oh man

"Oh, is that so?" He chuckles as he steps closer to me.

"Totally," I tease as I get lost in his eyes. What the hell is happening? "Well, let me help you out a bit, babe." He smirks and suddenly his lips are on mine. We're kissing! Wait.., we're kissing. This kiss is so soft, his hands reach down to my waist as he's picking me up onto the counter in my bathroom. My arms go around his neck and I feel him smile.

"Luke," I gasp, we break from the kiss speechless. My mind was saying "Adrianna, what have you gotten yourself into?" But my heart was screaming "fuck it!", and just like that I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pressed my lips to his.
