After work, Nabi and Kwon Jiyong went back to the building dorms together, like they used to before Kwon Jiyong got busier with his schedule. They went their own separate ways to their own dorms. They were going to shower and get dressed. Kwon Jiyong had to meet Nabi at her dorm after. So when the playful doorbell rang, she had expected it to be Joo Won since he said he would try to come early, but it was Kwon Jiyong. She smiled at him, noticing his bare face and untouched damp hair. His pink hair had long faded and was almost blond with a little hint of pink. The roots were long and dark. From what he had told Nabi, he had been thinking on dying his hair grey, which in all honesty, Nabi thought he looked best with black hair. He wore a black matching track suit. He didn't feel the need to dress up and neither did Nabi. She had her, now shoulder length hair, tied up into a messy bun with strands falling freely around her face. Her face held no makeup but her cheeks were always slightly red and Kwon Jiyong had confirmed that her cheeks were naturally like that. She wore an oversized button up shirt with shorts. She smiled and handed Kwon Jiyong a bag.
"It's food that I made. Joo Won is going to be bringing drinks." Nabi smiled. "I don't know what Jang Mi is going to be bringing though." Nabi said slipping on her shoes.
"Wait, you invited Jang Mi?" Kwon Jiyong asked all in one breath.
Nabi raised a brow but chuckled. "Uhm...yes, this was her idea." She smiled answering each of his questions.
"But if she started all this, she'll come with her husband and her brothers and then she'll invite her best friend Min Hyorin who will bring Young Bae. Young Bae will invite Seungri and then Daesung. The whole gang will be there." Kwon Jiyong explained.
Nabi chuckled. "Is that a big deal?"
Kwon Jiyong shook his head. "I guess not." He wanted to just hang out with Nabi but he guessed she wanted to get to know her new friend. "Let's go."
The two made their way up the steps until finally stopping before the roof's entrance door. Nabi reached out and opened the door to the entrance of the rooftop, Kwon Jiyong was amazed by what was actually up on the roof of the building he lived in. He couldn't believe it was here and the whole time he didn't even think about having the roof at least look like this for a hangout.
"How long has the roof looked liked this?" He asked Nabi who had walked to the table and climbed on top.
"Since I moved in." She said. She laid down on the table and sighed as she looked up at the sky. "The stars are my favorite part of the night." She said not caring if he was listening to her or not.
Kwon Jiyong looked up at the dark sky as he tightened the grip on the handle for the bag of food he carried. He looked away from the sky and to Nabi who had her hands intertwined and placed over her stomach as she looked up. He walked over to the table and placed the bag on an open spot away from him and laid himself next to her.
Kwon Jiyong looked up at the sky and sighed. He couldn't see any stars at the moment. Not many bright ones, anyway. When he turned his head to look at Nabi, she looked like she was staring at them. So, he tried again, just looking at the black night sky with very dim lit stars. It was hard to see the stars in the city, so he couldn't know what Nabi was looking at. So he ended up just staring at a black sky.
"You can't see them, can you?" Nabi asked as she turned to look at him.
Kwon Jiyong shook his head. "Nope. Not a single one."
Nabi smiled. "It's because of the city lights in Seoul. Since the building lights are bright, they dim the lights of the stars." She explained.
"Then why do you stare at the sky knowing you can't see the stars?" Kwon Jiyong asked.
