Chapter 44 - Four Months Later

After Kwon Jiyong's promotional period had finished, Nabi had been doing her best in trying to avoid meeting with his family. He had already informed his parents and sister about her, told them everything besides how they actually met, and they were excited to meet her. However, his family was only available on the weekends since his parents are off doing god knows what, and his sister is busy trying to expand her clothes line to Japan, so weekdays were kind of hectic for his family. Meanwhile, Nabi was busy on weekends staying with her mom.

Although he finished his promotional period, he always came to the dorm to visit Nabi or just to hang out with her. He has been happy since Nabi was, surprisingly, still unknown to the public. His admittance about his relationship during the variety show had caused an uproar within the VIP fandom. People did not like it and Kwon Jiyong became dumbfounded at the fandom because he was old enough to be in a relationship or even get married. He could understand if it was six or seven years ago, where he was still fresh in the music scene, but it's been awhile now. Kwon Jiyong is much older and knows what he wants. He swore the fandom should've matured up with him after so many years.

"Son, is the house in Jeju available?" Kwon Jiyong looked up to his mom who sat across from him on the table.

"Yes, why?" He asked. "Did you want to use it?"

She smiled. "Yes. I have a friend living down on that end and her daughter asked me to come and help plan a surprise birthday for her mom."

"Yeah it's available. Do you want me to drop you off?" Kwon Jiyong asks.

She shook her head. "I'm going with your father. So he can drive." She says with a knowing smile.

"I still haven't agreed to join." His dad says from the kitchen.

"What about your girlfriend?" Kwon Dami, Kwon Jiyong's older sister, asks. "When do we get to meet her?"

"She's busy with work during the weekdays and busy on the weekends with her family. You know, the same thing." He shrugged.

"Well, we can't wait forever." Kwon Jiyong's mother piped in.

"Yeah, do we have to hear everything about you over magazine articles." Kwon Dami joked.

"I actually found out from our neighbors when I went out to walk the dog." Kwon Jiyong's dad came with his plate filled of food, as he sat down at the head of the table.

Kwon Jiyong's mother began laughing. "I found out when I went to do my hair at the salon from my hair stylist."

Everyone began laughing while Kwon Jiyong rolled his eyes. "I get it. You guys didn't hear it from the horse's mouth."

"Just try and convince her. We want to meet her and get to know her. Now that your promotional period is over, maybe we can even go out to camp." His dad suggested.

"We haven't camped in awhile. You should invite your other band mates too and Seung-Hyun's wife. I only met her at the wedding. She's really pretty." His mom piped in.

"Sounds like fun to me!" Kwon Dami spoke up. "I can bring my friends." She did a little dance as she sang out her sentence.

"Alright. I'll try and set everything up then. I'll let you guys know when everyone is available." Kwon Jiyong smiles as he started to like the sound of it.

Kwon Jiyong entered the company with juniors bowing to him as he passed. He would just smile at them and tell them to continue working hard. He was making his way to Nabi's class where he instantly smiled at what he saw. Nabi sat at the grand piano in the corner of the room with a group of young teens surrounding her. She would play a key, and make each of them hit it and hold it out for as long as they could, without straining their voice.
