Back For You: One Direction

Louis' POV

It was surprisingly sunny as I walked on the sidewalk to Elise's dorm. It's been almost a week since her performance and exactly two weeks since I asked her to be my girlfriend. We were going out for dinner and then we were going to the movies. For dinner I decided to take her to a hibachi place because, well, who doesn't love hibachi? The answer is no one.

I have been really worried about Elise and her anxiety. The doctor has been saying that she needed to take three or four pills instead of two. I'm afraid that one day she might forget again and do something really bad. I could not even imagine it. She seems to have been on edge lately, I think it's because her mother refuses to answer her calls. Which, incidentally, is my fault. I feel really bad about that, I know it's because of my tattoos. You kind of get that vibe from her mother.

When I reached her dorm, I knocked lightly and instantly the door opened. A smiling Elise stood in the doorway. She had on a fabulous green dress on that looked stunning on her. She radiated with beauty.

"Well Elise, you look beautiful, as always," I said as she locked the door to her dorm, "Are you ready to go my darling?" I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand.

"Thank you Louis, you look great too," She pushed her hair behind her ear, "Where will you be taking me this fine evening?"

We strolled down the hallways and down the stairs, "That new hibachi place downtown, they have karaoke too."

"Sounds good, I love hibachi." Elise said, I reached for her hand. I have never been into someone before. Every time I close my eyes I see her smile, it's quite the view. Every time she hugs me or holds my hand or traces my tattoos I can't help but crave more of her.

In the car ride there we talked about lots of things, mostly our classes and stuff. When we were seated we talked about the people doing the karaoke, mostly laughing. Her laugh is cute because she scrunches up her nose and her eyes light up, it's cute.

We ordered and talked some more, it was a very enjoyable date. I just liked to be with her. We could be jumping off a cliff and if I were with her I would be totally okay with that. Our food came and along with it came more laughing and talking. In the middle of her ridiculously funny story of something she did in high school, my phone started to ring.

"I'm sorry baby," I said as I excused myself from the table, "I'll be right back."

I walked away from the table and answered the phone, it was my mother.

"Hello Louis," She said cheerily, "I need to tell you something and it's important. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything."

"I was just eating dinner with Elise," I said, "What's wrong? Is someone hurt?"

"Oh well then be sure to apologize to Elise for me," I made a mental note to remember that, "But, we must fly to London on Sunday," Two days from now, "Your grandmother is sick and we have to visit her. I'm sorry it's so quick, but we will only be gone a week or so."

"Oh, yeah, of course, Mom," I said, leave Elise for a week? "I'll meet you at the airport on Sunday. I'll see you then,"

"I love you Louis, if you are still mad about what happened at dinner well I-" She rambled.

"I love you too, I'm not mad at all at you. The same can't be said for your husband. I have to go now, Mom, I'm sorry. Love you, bye." I hung up, yes I know that was rude but I needed to be with Elise.

"Who was that? Is everything alright?" Elise asked, most likely reading the uneasiness on my face.

"It was my Mom," I said, "My grandmother is really sick and we have to go visit her. I'll be gone for about a  week. I leave Sunday. I'd hate to leave you, I just-"

"It's okay Louis," She said with a small smile, "I understand, you need to be with your family. It's only a week, Lou."

"Alright," I replied, "I'll be sure to call you every night, okay? And you can call me whenever."

"Louis," Elise laughed, "You have two days before you leave, you sound like you're leaving in an hour."

I laughed and eased up a little. She was right, it's only a week. What's the worst that could happen?

**Sunday**

Elise drove me in her car to the airport. My plane left at two thirty. I was so upset to be leaving her, I would go crazy missing her. She greeted my family, my dad responded coldly, but my sisters and my mother were very happy to see her.

"Hey Elise," I whispered before I had to board, "Promise me nothing will change between us while I'm gone?"

"I promise Louis," She blushed, "Just don't fall in love with any British models or anything, alright?"

I laughed, none of them compare to her, "I promise I'll come back for you." I gave her one last kiss goodbye and boarded the plane.

She waved to me and I got on the plane. I wish she could have gone. I hated to say goodbye to her.
