A Thousand Years Part Two: Christina Perri

White Dress: Parachute

Third Person POV

Elise's hands were sweating lightly from nerves as Louis' sisters who doubled a bridesmaids, Ava, Mrs. Williams and Johannah doted on her beauty. She really did look beautiful and graceful, just as any woman should look on her wedding day.

Her mother placed the veil on her head and Elise admired herself in the mirror, she truly felt like a princess. With final gasps of adoration, Louis' sisters, Ava and the mothers' left her to start the ceremony. Robert, Elise's uncle was going to walk her down the aisle in the absence of her father. With a light knock on the door, Elise picked up her flowers, this was it.

But it wasn't her Uncle Robert who poked their head into the room, it was Niall.

"Hi," Niall said stepping into the room, he looked nice in a suit. It was Louis' idea to invite him and Elise reluctantly agreed, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you Niall, thanks for coming too," Elise smiled slightly as she placed her flowers back on the table.

"I am honored to come, congratulations by the way." Niall said as he ran his fingers through his hair, he was dying to say something but he just didn't know how.

"Thank you, it means a lot to me, us." Elise replied politely, "Are you trying to say something here, Niall?"

"I just wanted to apologize for ruining our friendship all those years ago, you didn't deserve that." He finally said it.

"It's alright, I just hope we can return to a kind of normal friendship now." Elise said and they both laughed little breathy awkward laughs.

In the silence, they both could hear the music start to play, "I better get back out there and join the crowd," Niall said pointing to the door, "Can I have a friendly hug?"

"Of course," Elise smiled as she hugged Niall. He then gave her an approving nod and he left to go back to his seat.

Within a few minutes her uncle opened the door and gave her a smile. He extended his arm to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "You ready?" Elise gave him a nod and he led her out of the little room.

"Just remember sweetie, if he ever hurts you I can dig up the beebee gun and be in the city in about an hour." Robert said, leaving them chuckling as the two main doors opened, "You will always be my little girl."

Before everything happened with Niall, Louis was with his groomsmen, Elise's uncle and Troy in a separate room. His friends were fixing their ties and straightening their jackets and Troy was sipping a glass of wine and Elise's uncle who would be walking her down the aisle was watching Louis from across the room.

Elise and her uncle were very close when she was younger. He lived out on Long Island and for Christmas they went out to visit. She was his everything and it was as if Elise was a daughter to him. Elise didn't like to talk about her father because she doesn't really know what happened to him, as a child on day she was looking out the window and waving as he drove off to work, but he didn't come back that night. Or the night after that.

Johannah stuck her head in the door and motioned for them to all go out, the ceremony was starting. Louis walked out behind all of his dapper friends and Johannah pulled him aside.

"Before I go in there and you get married, I want you to know you will always be my little boy and I am so proud of you and I am so glad you brought a lovely girl like Elise into our lives. She has changed you for the better. Gran wanted me to tell you that she would love to talk to you before she starts crying, but her wheelchair was too hard to maneuver out here. She said she loves you very much and she takes credit for getting your relationship with Elise back on the move," Johannah winked and started getting teary eyed. She let out a slight sigh and straightened out his tie, "Now give your mother a hug before she cries."

"I love you too Mom," Louis said as he hugged her tightly, his life was changing now, this was a huge step. She sniffled a little and kissed his cheek, Louis' eyes clouded with tears but he pushed them away, today was a happy day filled with happy tears. Johannah walked quickly back to her seat and Louis took one last look in the mirror hanging on the wall.

This was a moment he was going to remember for the rest of his life.

Louis took in a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair. He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand and he walked through the open doors. He walked slowly down the aisle and up to the alter.

The once open doors closed again and a different song picked up, the bride was coming.

Elise saw Louis and Louis alone. He looked so handsome in his grey suit and bow tie. His mile wide smile broke out and she smiled too. As she walked down the aisle, she reflected on every moment that they have ever shared together. Elise was already misty eyed and she wasn't even at the alter yet.

Louis saw Elise and Elise alone. She looked stunning in her beautiful dress and her hair and her veil. Lottie was right, she did look like a princess, but she always did to Louis. Louis could not help his growing smile. They were going to be together for the rest of their lives. She was everything Louis ever wanted.

The crowd dabbed their eyes with tissues because they have never seen a couple more in love than Elise and Louis.

Robert kissed Elise on her cheek as she stood at the alter across from Louis. They stared into each others' eyes as the priest said words to them. They followed the instructions and it became time for vows.

"When I first saw you, I knew I had to be with you, and now I am. We have been together for what, like three years now, and it feels like so many more. I feel like I have known you for more, almost an eternity. I will always love you and cherish you and I will do anything for you. I'm so glad I am marrying you and that I can finally call you my wife, because calling you Future Mrs. Tomlinson was getting old," Everyone laughed and Louis smiled, "Now I can call you Mrs. Tomlinson for the rest of the time we have together. I love you so much and I really hope we can hurry this up so I can finally kiss you as not my girlfriend, but my wife."

Louis hadn't noticed that he let a tear slide down his face. Elise had a few happy tears sliding down hers and she had a smile that was priceless.

"Louis William Tomlinson, we are probably the most unexpected, almost oxymoronic couple out there, you with your tattoos and intimidating impression and me with my girly and slightly nerdy ways. If anyone had told me three years ago that we would be getting married I would have probably laughed, but I have come to realize that we couldn't be anymore perfect for each other. I can't wait to raise a family with you and become your wife. You are my best friend who I can trust with anything, and I have trusted you with every piece of information I have. I cannot wait for endless years of your corny jokes and silly faces. I will love you and trust you until the day I die because you are truly the one for me." Elise said shakily yet with an air of confidence.

The audience was 'aww'ing and most were crying at their beauty.

"Could you tell she was at the top of our class?" Louis joked and everyone laughed.

"Louis William Tomlinson, do you take Elise Paige Williams to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest said.

"If I didn't I wouldn't be here, so yes, I do," Louis smiled a smile that was so wide he was afraid it would fall right off his face.

"Elise Paige Williams, do you take Louis William Tomlinson to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do," Elise said smiling proudly.

"Then I now pronounce you, husband and wife."

My love as deep; the more I give to thee,

The more I have, for both are infinite.”
