***********A/N: I really liked this chapter because it's different and yeah I hope you like it too. If I had a boyfriend like Zayn or Louis I would just marry them on the spot. I kid you not. Any takers? No? Didn't think so, insert sigh here. Anywho, enough of my nonexistent love life. The music is from a musical, so I did something really different this time. I'm sorry that this chapter is short, I'm thinking the next one will be longer. If you want you guys can message me or comment to request songs because I am running out of ideas. I hope you like it! Kisses, I'm outtie.****************

I Never Planned on You/ Don't Come a-Knocking: Newsies

Ava's POV

Zayn had texted me and asked me to go over to his frat at seven, I'm really glad he wasn't mad that I didn't say 'I love you' back, but I was planning on saying it tonight. I was nervous to see him, I usually don't get nervous. I probably straightened and curled my hair ten billion times. I applied, took off and reapplied my makeup. By the time I knew it, it was sixty fifty and I had to walk across campus.

The entire walk there was fixing my clothes so they looked just right and fixing my hair and just nerve racking. Normally, I am never nervous with a boy, but ever since Danny I was afraid to open myself up again.

I had never planned on dating Zayn. It just happened. We have had a thing for each other for a few months now, no body knew though. We met through a singing class we were in together, at first we just looked at each other from across the room and he winked at me and I smiled back. Then we were partners in a project and wow can he sing like an angel. Then he asked me out on a date and we hung out and we kissed and he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was amazing.

I got to his room and knocked on his door. It was seven ten. I was ten minutes late. Zayn opened the door and smiled when he saw me.

"Hi," He said, I smiled, "You can come in. I have a surprise for you, I think you're gonna love it." Love. I needed to tell him.

I stepped into the room and looked around. Wow.

Zayn's POV

She was speechless when she saw what I had done to my room, her mouth practically hit the floor. I had twinkling Christmas lights hung everywhere and I even cleaned it up for her. I have never done that for any other girl, she was special.

"Zayn, this is..." She started to say, she was speechless.

"Shh, I'm about to start the show, take a seat." I said pointing to the chair I had set up for her.

Then I sang her favorite song, Bubbly by Colbie Caillat, she had tears welling up in her eyes. I hope that was a good sign. I told her I loved her earlier today, and I meant it. I have never said it to any other girl before, only her. She was special to me.

I loved the way her purple hair fell just right below her shoulders. And when she got serious or was thinking she would bite her lip. The way she was so passionate about acting. The way she lost herself in a song or monologue. The way her blue eyes shined when she talked about something she loved. I loved how she was different and not afraid to be herself. I loved her crazy, wild side.

When I finished the song, she just stared at me, smiling. Did I mention I loved her smile?

"Don't move," I said, "I have something else planned."

"Zayn," She started, "This is really, really..."

"Hey lady, I'm putting on a show, be quiet will you?" I smiled, "Alright so things are going to get really cute with what I'm going to say," She nodded, "Ava Grace, we have been dating for a short time but I feel like I have known you all my life. I never really gave love a second thought or even believed in love at first sight, until the day I saw you sitting across the room during that singing class we took. We had made awkward eye contact and I felt my hands get sweaty and I was nervous. I was so used to going from girl to girl, never dating or anything, but when I saw you it was just, wow. Your hair was red that day. That day I asked the teacher to pair us up together. And he did, and now look where we are." I finished.

Ava slowly stood from her chair and walked over to me, "I love you Zayn."

My smile was so big that my eyes squinted. She said she loved me. I did it. I got her to say it. I knew this would be it, I knew that she would love me. I knew it. I knew it. I wish I could explain my happiness. But I can't really put it into words. It was like a dream come true.
