It's been months. I know.

Allie's POV

It feels like I've been in this comma forever. Everyday it seems like someone is here. My mom. Madi. Liam. One of my other friends. Someone. Everyone but Shawn. He must not love me. He must have stopped caring.

The sad thing is, I don't blame him. Who would keep loving a girl who won't wake up? Who is motionless and can't communicate? Who is basically a bag of bones who is miraculously still breathing? No one. Especially now that he is really famous.

I hope soon that I either wake up, or they pull the plug. Listening to the agony of the people I love feels worse than death. At least if I died they would stop worrying.

Shawn's POV

It's been months. My songs are hits, my fan base is growing to heights I couldn't have imagined, and I have people lining up to meet me. Shouldn't I be happy?

No, I shouldn't be. I don't deserve happiness. I left her. I just left her. I should have stayed. I should have missed my concert and performed later. But, I didn't. I chose fame over love. I have never been so unhappy.

I try to text Madi occasionally to ask how she's doing. I either get no response or 'she's fine.'

I know she's not fine. I know she's still in that comma and I know that she will never be the same.

I have to go see her. At least once.

I pick up my phone. I press my manager's number in and call him.

"Hello, my superstar!" He exclaims.

"Hi, Steve." I state seriously.

"Is something the matter?"

"I need to take a month off."

"YOU WHAT?!" Steven screams.

"I need to take a month off. My priorities lie elsewhere."

"Shawn, this will mess up your career."

"I don't care."

And with that, I hang up the phone.
