Allie's POV
School was annoying as always. People would come up to us and say how sorry they were or that they hope we feel better.
I know what your thinking. It sounds nice but, it wasn't.
All the girl were flirting with Shawn the entire time. Shawn being the oblivious person he is, didn't notice, and he greeted them.
The only thing that was good, was the teachers surprisingly. They told us we didn't need to make up the work we missed. It was amazing.
At the end of the day, I was exhausted. Talking to a bunch of people you don't like can be draining.
I was putting my books in my locker when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Allie?" I hear a faint voice whisper. Shawn. I turned around with a smile.
My smile dropped the second I saw him. He had blood dried on his face and a huge bruise.
"Shawn! What happened?!" I screech.
"I got in a fight." He says trailing off.
"Why?!" I ask.
"Two idiots said you faked your accidents so you could get out of school. I told them to shut up and they didn't so I fought them." He said.
"Shawn." I breathed. "You didn't have to do that."
"Yes I did." He says looking at me. "I love you."
"I love you too." I say hugging him.
"This isn't my blood by the way." He says grinning.
"Sure big guy." I say laughing. "Wanna clean that off now, or at home?"
"Home is fine." He says. "People can see my toughness." He grins as he flexes.
"Whatever." I say laughing as I grab his hand.
We walk home together, listening to music. We are listening to Ed Sheeran, and rocking out. It's great to just spend time with him. I love it.
Sadly, our little jam session had to end when we reached our door.
I walked through and saw Liam and Madi studying. How can they be that adorable when they are doing something as simple as looking at a book?
Madi turns around and her jaw drops open. "Allie? Did you hit Shawn on accident?"
"No." I laugh. "Shawn got in a fight protecting my honor." I say in a medieval voice. I hug him. I still feel a pang of guilt because he got hurt, but I try my best to ignore it.
He kisses my head, and I grin wildly.
"I don't even want to know why." Madi says holding her hands up, as all of us laugh.
"We are gonna go do homework." I say laughing as I grab Shawn's hand.
We walk upstairs but instead of heading to my room, I lead him to the bathroom.
"Where are we going?" He asks.
"Gotta clean you up." I say shrugging.
I grab a wet paper towel and start to wipe off his face.
I kiss him after I clean up the blood.
"Thank you for standing up for me," I say smiling. "But I think you know by now that I can handle myself." I smirk.
He rolls his eyes. "What kind of man would I be, if I didn't stand up for my girlfriend?" He asks smiling.
"Oh, now I'm your girlfriend?" I tease. "Because as I recall it, I was never asked to be your girlfriend." I say shrugging my shoulders. I know I'm being kind of bitchy, but c'mon, it's fun.
"Oh. Right." He mumbles.
He runs downstairs and returns with a flower from my backyard. "Allie? Would you do me the honor of letting me call you my girlfriend?" He asks in a posh British accent.
"Of course." I say laughing. He's such a doof.
He puts his arm out to me. "Shall we do homework, my lady?"
"We shall." I laugh as I link my arms with his.
We walk to my room laughing, and I realize how great my life is when Shawn is with me.
