Allie's POV

After another hour of my constant crying, I say, "I can't do this all day, Shawn. We have to do something else. Something that will get my mind off of all of this."

"What do you want to do?" Shawn asks while he rubs my back for the millionth time today.

"Wanna grab some skateboards from my garage and skate to the park? I mean I should show you around the city because you're gonna be here for a week and all." I said smiling for the first time today.

"Great idea!" He said apparently eager.

"Someone is very eager!" I say laughing.

"Well yeah." He said. "It's a good idea to get out of the house." He said with half a smile.

"Yeah. Let's go." I say.

Thirty minutes later, we are sitting on the swings just talking. It's nice.

"So... I never got to ask you." Shawn said trailing off. "What did you think of the kiss?" He asks.

"I loved it." I say. "Probably the best thing that's happened to me in a while." I mumble to myself.

"Me too. It's one of the greatest at least." He says.

I blush. "Oh. I didn't think you heard that." I say looking down embarrassed.

He grabbed my chin and lifted it up. "Don't be embarrassed." He said.

I smile up at him and lean in. We kiss and it feels as magical as the first time.

"So." He says with a ginormous grin on his face.

"So." I say. "Wanna go to Subway?!" I ask as we both laugh.

"Sounds perfect." He says laughing.

As we both get up, I pull him in for a big hug. "Thank you." I murmur in his shoulder. "Thank you for being so amazing. Thank you for knowing the exact thing to say. Thank you for finding the good in terrible situations. Thank you for being you." I say looking at him.

He smiles. "Thank you for being the perfect girl." He says kissing my nose and grabbing my hand.

"Now let us go eat until our stomachs explode!" I say pumping my fist in the air.

He laughs and grabs my hand, leading us to our skateboards.

After subway, we go to my house where we watch a marathon of South Park for the rest of the day. We end up falling asleep on the couch, laying on top of eachother.

Today would have been the best day ever if I hadn't picked a fight with Madi. It was still pretty great. But I need my best friend back. I can't live without her.
