Chapter 19

Madi's POV

Second week of school. Not any better. I have to wear a pound of concealer to cover up the huge bruise left on my face by Brooke. Every time I walk past her in the hallway, she'll raise her fist in the air like she is going to punch me, just to make me flinch. I freaking hate her so much. We should really prank her again. Maybe it'll knock some sense into her.

At lunch, Liam comes to visit which makes my heart flutter as much as it did the first time he did it. He sits next to me, and Allie and Shawn sit on the other side. Once there is a moment of silence, I speak my mind.

"We should prank Brooke again." I simply say and bite into a slice of pizza.

"We should. She's been brattier than usual." Allie says.

"Definitely. But what should we do?"

"No idea. I'll have to do some research when I get home." She smirks.

"Oh I know!" I jump up in excitement and scare the crap out of everyone.

"Geez, what?!" Allie says.

"We should dump a load of water balloons on her. But instead if water..."

"We put hot sauce and stuff!" Allie finishes.

"And you guys can be a part of it, too!" I look at Liam and Shawn.

"How?" Liam asks.

"You guys could trick Brooke into thinking that you like her and that you would dump us for her. Then, you could lead her to the spot where Madi and I will dump the stuff on her!" Allie says.

"Okay. But just to make it clear with you two, Shawn and I will be acting." Liam smiles.

"Yeah." Shawn agrees and puts his arm around Allie. They are too cute.

We spend the rest of lunch plotting against Brooke, and planning for tomorrow. Next thing we know, Liam has to leave.

"Okay, Bye Liam." Allie says and walks away with Shawn.

"Bye." I say as I run up and hug him.

"Bye. I'll see you later." he kisses my forehead. I smile and wave goodbye. Time for 6th period. This is the only class I don't have with Allie. Thankfully, it breezes by.

I stop at my locker at the end of the day, and see Brooke walking down the hallway. Great. I smile politely and look her dead in the eyes. Just kill her with kindness. She rolls her eyes and walks the opposite direction. That's what I thought. I continue to pack up, and walk out to meet Allie, Liam, and Shawn.

"Let's go buy some water balloons and gross stuff!" She says when I reach them. We all high five and hop in the jeep. I never thought I would say this, but I can't wait to go to school tomorrow.
