These past two weeks have been complete torture. Allie hasn't woken up. Liam hasn't woken up. Shawn has, so we've been bonding a little. But sadly, it's taken us getting into a car accident to do so.

I just haven't been the same. I'm depressed, tired, sad. I'm always visiting Allie and Liam's rooms, praying that they will wake up. I don't care if it's next week, or now, or three months from now. I mean, I'd prefer it to be now, but I don't mind it being tomorrow or something. I just need them to wake up. More than anything.

I end up falling asleep with my head resting on Liam's bed, dreaming and praying for the day of his and Allie's awakening. Suddenly, I hear slight sobs coming from the hall. I lift my head up and blink my eyes open.

"Allie?" I call, my voice barely a whisper. We both rush over to each other and hug.

"I missed you so much." we say at the same time. We do that all the time. It's pretty creepy, actually. We just smile at each other. We're too hurt to laugh. Both physically and mentally.

Shawn, Allie, and I sit beside Liam's bed and talk about anything that comes up. Besides the accident, of course.

"Yeah I could eat like ten boxes of Fruit by the Foots in a day." Allie says. We all burst into laughter.

"I know you could!" I say between laughs.

Then, we start talking about school.

"Remember that one time in eighth grade when we started fake crying at lunch, and yelled 'I just wanna go home!'?" I laugh.

"Yeah. Or the time when..." she trails off and something behind me catches her eye.

"What?" I ask.

Shawn and her stare, wide-eyed. I finally look behind me to see a truly amazing sight.

Liam's POV

I open my eyes to see Shawn, Allie and Madi staring at me. Just a minute ago, I heard laughter filling the room, but now you could hear a pin drop.

Wow. I don't mean to be rude, but they don't look so good. I can only imagine that I look worse, though.

"Liam!" Madi whispers and grins widely. We both throw our arms around each other, careful not hurt one another.

"I missed you." she sniffs. Allie and Shawn decide to give us a bit of time alone, so they walk out.

"I missed you too. How long have I been asleep?" I ask and look at her.

"You've been in a coma for two weeks." she says, wiping the tears from her face.

"Two weeks? It's been two weeks since the accident? How long have you been awake?" I ask. This is crazy.

"Shawn and I were the only ones awake from the beginning. You and Allie had the most impact, so you've both been in a coma, and you two have more damage." she sighs.

"Oh." is all I can manage.

"Yeah. I'm so glad you're awake. I haven't been myself lately...I've been so depressed and sad. I can't even remember the last time I smiled before today. I was missing the two people I care most about." she looks down.

"Well, you don't have to be sad and depressed anymore." I smile and hug her again.

"Okay." she smiles at me.
