Allie's POV
Everything kind of seems like a dream.
For a while, I don't feel my wounds, I just try my best to focus on getting home.
I stay this way for what feels like days. It ends up being only five hours.
I'm finally home. 6:00 a.m. It's too early for any of this.
I crawl out of my car. I try to stand nice and tall. All I have to do is make it to the door, and then Madi will help.
My wounds start pounding with pain all at the same time.
I collapse into a mess on the ground. Only now, do I look at the mess that is my body.
My ankle is swollen and bruised to hell. The bullet wound in my stomach obviously hasn't gone away, so the blood is absolutely everywhere. I feel like if I lose much more, I won't be able to continue breathing long enough to watch it heal.
I use all the strength left in me to crawl to the door.
"MADI!" I call. Yelling hurts so bad. Everything hurts.
Seeing that I have tired my option of yelling, I look behind me to see a rock. It's about six feet behind me. I spin on my stomach, and crawl the best I can to the rock.
I have perfect aim of Madi's window. She'll probably kill me if I break her window, but if I don't, she would have to see my dead body in our driveway.
I make my mind up fast.
I use the last little amount of energy my body can use, and chuck it at her window. It shatters and I hear shuffling feet.
Liam's head appears out of the broken mess that was her window.
"Allie?!" He calls.
I smile and allow myself to lose consciousness.
Liam's POV
A loud crash wakes me up. I see Madi is still sleeping. She looks so peaceful. I snap back to the noise. I look to see Madi's window is shattered.
Oh, God. Not today. All we need is sleep. Madi and I didn't fall asleep until 3:00. Madi was crying and I was comforting her. Allie is still missing, and Madi is heartbroken.
I get up fast and rush to the broken shards of glass that were Madi's window.
I peer out to see Allie. Her ankle i swollen and bruised horribly. There is also a large pool of blood surrounding her broken body.
"Allie?!" I call out to her.
She smiles and her body falls limp onto the ground.
I contemplate telling Madi, but I resist. Allie needs to go to the hospital. Now. No time for anything.
I slip my slippers on, rush downstairs, grab my keys.
I rush out the door, and grab Allie's limp body. I lay her in the backseat. I take my shirt off and wrap it around her wound. She can't bleed out. She just can't.
I race towards the hospital. The hospital is about five miles away, but I make it in six minutes.
I stop my car, and go to my backseat to grab Allie.
I pick her up and see she is becoming extremely pale.
I run as fast as I can to the ER doors. I push them open.
"Someone help me!" I plead. "I think she's been shot!"
Nurses rush over with a gurney. They put her damaged body onto the gurney, and rush out of the front office.
I see some people stare at me, but I dismiss it.
After a few minutes of being asked questions about her, they let me sit and wait.
I feel in my pocket, and realize I forgot my phone.
I walk up to the front desk. "Could I please use your phone?" I ask with a chipper, fake smile spread across my face.
"Sure." The front lady pushes the phone towards me.
I dialed Madi's phone and within one ring, she picked up the phone.
"Hello?" She asks in a panicky voice.
"It's me baby." I coo into the phone.
"Where the hell are you?! I wake up to my window broken, blood on the driveway, and you missing. What. The. Hell." She rushes.
"Madi, Allie broke the window, she was shot, we're in the ER." I say quickly.
"Why didn't you wake me up?!" She questions.
"Because you need your sleep." I reply.
"I'm coming." She pushes.
"No. First you need to contact Allie's loved ones. Tell them we found her and she's in the ER." I demand.
"But Liam," she starts.
"Please, love. They don't need to suffer any longer. Let all her friends and family know, and then you can come." I beg.
"Fine." She sighs into the phone.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too, Liam." She replies.
I hang up the phone and go to sit down again.
The door pushes open to the doctor's center.
"Are you Liam Payne?" The middle-aged doctor asks.
"Yeah." I respond. "Is she okay?"
"Come in and we will talk." The doctor motions for me to follow.
I obey and follow him into the room.
God. I really hope she's okay.
