Madi's POV

Allie was right. Liam and I did just kinda sit there and stare at each other in awe. My reason: Liam Payne is standing three feet away from me. His reason: unknown. When I finally snap back into reality, I say,

"Hey, do you wanna sit down and have a snack?"

"Sure. What do you wanna eat?" he asks.

"Hmm. We could make popcorn and watch a movie?" I suggest.

"Perfect." he smiles.

Liam goes and sits on the couch while I get a bag of popcorn and toss it in the microwave. Minutes later, I take it out, pour it into a bowl, and walk over to the couch that Liam's sitting on.

"Okay. Which movie are we gonna watch?" he asks as I sit down and hand the popcorn to him.

"Oh I know! How about 'We Bought a Zoo'?" I exclaim.

"Okay. I haven't seen that before, but it sounds good...I think." he laughs.

I search Netflix for the movie and find it almost immediately. Allie and I are Netflix experts. Like, we need medals, were that good.

A half hour in, my head almost falls into the popcorn on my lap.

"You tired?" he chuckles.

"A little." I rub my eyes and laugh.

"Then you should go to bed."

"Well I don't wanna leave you on your own, in a strangers house, watching some random movie that some random girl picked out." I look at him.

"You're not a stranger or a random girl. And I don't mind, it's fine." he laughs.

"Okay, fine. But I'll sleep down here." I lay down onto the couch cushion next to me.

"Okay. Goodnight." he smiles.

"Goodnight." I say and close my eyes. I feel his eyes still on me, but ignore it. It's cute.

"Wait, one question before I fall asleep." I sit up.

"Okay. Go for it." he says.

"Why did you come here? I mean not that I don't want you here or anything, I just, I mean I do want you here, but I-I mean... why? Like what made you come here?" my cheeks flush. Smooth, Madi.

"Well, to be completely honest, you did. I heard about what happened with you and Harry, and I was immediately furious. A girl should never be treated that way. Especially a girl like you..." he trails off.

"Anyways, I couldn't believe that Harry would be so stupid as to do such a thing, and I was just so mad, and I wanted to come here, to LA, and make sure you were okay." he blushes. Freaking. Adorable.

"Oh." is all I can manage to say.

"Yeah. I think I'm gonna go to bed, too. Where should I sleep?" he changes the subject.

"Wherever, really." I reply.

"Is here fine?" he pats the couch that were both sitting on.

"Sure. I can't promise that it'll be the most comfortable option, though." I laugh and get up to grab some blankets and pillows.

"That's fine." he smiles.

I come back with 4 pillows, two throw blankets, and a comforter.

"Wow. And you said it wasn't going to be comfortable." he smirks.

"I never said I wasn't gonna try and make it more comfortable." I defend myself.

I hand him a blanket, two pillows, and one side of the comforter. We both doze off within the next twenty minutes or so.

I wake up at around one, because I'm freezing and look over at Liam. He's cuddled with the blankets and his pillows and has a big smile on his face. Do all boys look this cute when they're sleeping? I smile, turn the air down, and grab another blanket.

When I lay back on the couch, I look over at Liam one last time and smile. I wonder what he's dreaming about, that could give him that big of a smile on his face.
