Chapter 13

Allie's POV

I wake up to hear my doorbell ringing. Who would go to someone's house this early?! I glance at the clock. Oh. It's 12:00. I yawn and mat down my crazy hair. Shawn and I fell asleep on the couch. Again.

I open the door to see someone I really wasn't expecting.

"Hi." The all too familiar boy said. "I'm Liam Payne. Does Madison Friday live here?" He asks smiling sweetly at me.

"Umm yeah. Hi. I'm Allie." I say sticking out my hand for him to shake. I'm kind of in shock. He's always been my favorite member of One Direction.

He smiles again and shakes my hand. "Can I come in?" He asks chuckling.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." I say smiling. "Come in." I say shooing him in.

He smiles and walks in slowly.

I notice that Shawn is still sleeping. "Oh sorry." I said. I rush over to Shawn and flick him on his forehead. He wakes up shocked. He looks at me and gives me a 'what the hell' look. I just shrug. I get him up and grab his arm. I look at Liam. Shawn widens his eyes when he sees Liam.

"What is happening?" Shawn whispers into my ear.

"Hold on." I say. I look at Liam again. "We'll be right back. We have to go get Madi. Make yourself at home." I say gesturing around the room.

He smiles and nods. "Thank you." He says sweetly.

"No problem." I mumble as I rush upstairs with Shawn in tow.

"Care to explain?" Shawn asks.

"He's here to see Madi. Liam beat up Harry because of what he did to Madi. Now he's here to see her for some reason." I say.

"Oh." He says.

"I'm gonna go wake her up." I say

"Madi!!" I shriek, bursting into her room.

She jumps awake. Oh my god. I don't mean to be rude, but she looks like crap. Her hair is a mess, her eyes are red from crying, and she is extremely pale.

"What?!" She asks concerned. "What happened?!"

I rush up to her. "Liam Payne, your crush, is sitting in our living room asking for you." I say. "So get yourself together, and go talk to him. Now." I demand. If things between her and Liam were to work out, life would be good. I mean, he obviously cares about her. He beat up Harry Styles because he hurt her. Like damn. That reminds me, I still need to kill him for hurting her.

"Oh my god." She says clearly shocked. "Give me five minutes." She says jumping out of her bed. I nod and get up to leave. I grab Shawn's hand. "Go down there and talk to him until Madi's ready." I say.

"Do I have to?" He asks.

"Please?" I ask pouting.

"Fine." He grumbles.

I smile and kiss his cheek. I run into my room. I grab skinny jeans, a black t-shirt, and black converse. Then, I run into the bathroom. I brush my teeth, put on mascara, then walk down the stairs.

I smile at Liam, and sit down next to Shawn. "Madi will be down in just a second." I say. Just as I say that, Madi comes bounding down the steps.

Wow. In a matter of five minutes, she managed to pull on a blue crop top, a black skirt, combat boots, and a black heart necklace. She also curled her hair, put mascara and eyeliner on and brushed her teeth to the point where they were pearly white. Yeah. In a matter of five minutes. Even I can't do that.

"Hi." She says smiling sweetly at Liam.

"Umm h-hi." He said. His eyes were widened, and he was speechless. He recovered and blushed slightly.

"I'm Madi. You probably already know that though." She says blushing.

"I'm Liam. You probably know me already too." He said chuckling. "I don't mean to be straight forward or anything," he says while looking up and down Madi's body. "But I cannot believe Harry could be so stupid to cheat on someone as pretty as you." He says looking down as he blushes.

"What?" Madi asked.

"You are beautiful." He says smiling.

Madi blushes.

They stare at each other for a long time.

"Well then." I say getting up. It seems to snap them out of their daydream. "Shawn and I will go upstairs while you guys stare at each other." I say clapping my hands together.

I grab drinks, while Shawn grabs snacks and we head upstairs to go watch yet another marathon of Netflix. I sneak a look back downstairs and I see Madi and Liam with their mouths wide open. I laugh.

This should be very interesting.
