Allie's POV

Madi woke up eventually.

It looked like she had the worst hangover ever.

She had bloodshot eyes, she slumped around, and she always clutched her head like she had the worst headaches.
She probably did.

I don't know.

"Good morning sunshine!" I smile as she walks downstairs.

"Shut the hell up." She mumbles as she clutches her head again.

"Whatever." I roll my eyes. "Hey, I didn't see Kyndall at the party. Where is she?"

"I think she went home after our second party." She says massaging her temples.

"Oh." I say. Smart.

It would of been nice if Kyndall was there though.

She never gets very drunk, and she would've taken care of Madi's little problem.

"Can you please stop talking?" Madi asks as she downs a few aspirins.

"No thanks!" I yell at her. She winces.

"It's your fault." I tell her. "You're the one who got drunk. Not my fault that you're having a hangover." I shrug.

She flips me off and heads back upstairs.

I realize that I haven't told her about my Shawn problem yet.

Ugh. I guess I'll have to tell her at some point.

"Hey Drunkie!" I yell.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
She screeches from her room.

"I'VE GOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" I yell back.

After about five minutes, she stumbles downstairs.

"What?" She asks.

"While you were partying, I may or may not have broken up with Shawn." I say innocently.

"What?!?!" She cries.

Her bloodshot eyes seem to lighten up a little.

At least I know she's paying attention.
"You know that guy, Brandon?" I ask.

"Oh, that hot, new guy?" She asks.

"Um yeah." I mumble. "He kissed me, and I may or may not might have kissed him back."

"Why would you do that?" She asks.
I sigh. "I guess I was missing Shawn so much, I needed a boyfriend. I don't know. It's stupid."

"No. I get what you mean. When Liam called me, he told me he has to be on tour for an extra month." She says sadly. "That's why I went and partied. I needed a distraction I guess."

I just hug her.

I know being apart from Liam is killing her.

"Wait." She says pulling apart from our hug. "How did Shawn find out?"

"Who do you think?" I ask with my eyebrows raised.

"Brooke. That bitch!" She screeches in disgust.

I laugh sadly.

"Tell me about it. I was calling to tell him, and he yelled at me because Brooke beat me to it. We broke up, and I stayed home for a couple days. When I went back to school, Brooke called me out, like always, and I hit her. Then I went home, and Liam told me what party you were at, and I went there, and you know the rest." I say waving my hands.

"Wow." She says. "You really needed me didn't you?"

"I'll be fine." I say hugging her.
At least that's settled.

Madi's POV

"Are you okay now? I ask after a few beats of silence.

"Kind of. More so than the past couple of days." she says.

"Okay. Tell me if you need anything. Now, I need a nap." I say, getting up off the couch.

"Sleep well, drunk one." she smiles.

"You're proud of that one, aren't you?" I ask.

"Yup." she says. We both begin laughing as I walk upstairs and into my room. I fall asleep quickly for the rest of the day.

~the next morning~

I really don't want to go to school today. I mean, I never want to go to school, but today I just really don't want to.

Oh well. I get up and put on a pair of jeans, a tank top, flannel shirt, some boots, a necklace, and tie my hair into a braid with a beanie. Then, I put on some mascara and head downstairs.

"Ready to go?" Allie says.

"Mhm." I say, grabbing a piece of bacon off the counter.

When we get to school, we get the usual glares from Brooke and her 'friends'. They really need to come up with something new. Their glares are getting pretty boring.

~During 4th period~

I wonder if Brooke actually has a boyfriend. Nope. Definitely not. No one can put up with that. She's just trying to get with Allie and I's boyfriends. Well, mine and Allie's ex. I can't believe she did that, but at the same time, I know why she did it. Its hard being in a long distance relationship. And they were kind of drifting apart. Maybe it was for the best? But I think they were adorable together.

This is the kind of stuff that goes through my head in 4th period. Its so boring.

"Have you talked to Brandon since what happened?" I text her.

"Nope." she responds.

"Oh. I think you should." I say.

"I might." she replies. And that was the end of the conversation.

I'm not sure if she's really going to talk to him or not. She might, but she might not. Maybe I should call Shawn and tell him why she did this. No. This is her business and I shouldn't be getting involved. Only when she needs me to.

"Mrs. Friday?" the teacher says.

"Here." I mumble, not looking up from my notebook. Quiet laughter sounds through the classroom.

"I'm not taking attendance. Answer the question." she snaps.

"Umm. B?" I guess. I have no idea what question we're on. I got too lost in my own thoughts.

"Correct. Next question." is all I hear her say before I tune her out again. Well okay, then. After that, I find myself doodling all over my notebook. I even wrote Liam's name in a couple places. Oops. Oh well, I can't erase pen. I began drawing on anything and everything. Even my own hands. I should probably stop now. I put the pen away, then the bell rings. Everyone walks out of the classroom, relieved that it's the end of the day.

I look over at Brandon's locker, but don't see anyone.

Then, I look over at Allie's locker and only see her.

Guess she didn't talk to him.

Maybe I will.

Maybe.
