Campfire and Bonding

*Matt's POV*

I felt bad for Shawn, we all knew how much he liked Macky and he threw it down the drain. I saw him walk over to Macky, but she was swerving him twice in a row. Shawn didn't want to leave the tent once we were all settled in, we all know he was crying over her.

We all sat on the logs or chairs, making s'mores, talking, laughing, and enjoying each others company. "Where's Shawn? He's missing out on this" Sierra said.

I pointed at the tent "He's 'sleeping', Shawn's a bit I guess you could say sad and jealous." I looked at Macky and she looked down. "Talk to him..." she sighed and got up talking some s'mores with her.

Hope this cheers him up.

*Macky POV*

I opened up Shawn's and Matt's tent and stepped in, Shawn was staring up at the roof of the tent "I thought you're suppose to be sleeping...." Shawn looked at me and his chest fell and raised quickly. "Hey, Shawn."

"Hi... It's been a while" I nodded and handed him a s'more. "So?"

"Matt said we should talk" I said sitting opposite to him. We were both quiet and not saying anything "Is there anything that you wanna say? Cameron texted me before we left and said he broke up with Janessa. She didn't tell him about the party, he told me she was distant and lost her..."

Shawn looked away "I-I uhm, I don't know..." I sighed. "Why did you tell Matt about us? He said you weren't sure if you were falling in love with me. Did I loose you?"

"Ya, I did because I knew he wouldn't tell you unless something happened and to get you thinking. I was falling in love with you... I love you just not that way, as friend ya. I don't know if I lost you..." I said back. "Could we just forget about everything that happened? I just want my best friend back, the one who embarrass me in front of guys I like, takes care of me, makes me laugh, and thinks he's a guitar superman." I could at least try to or pretend things will work.

Shawn smiled "Ya, I'll do that. Could I ask you something? Do you like Luke?" I nodded "Good 'cause he's a good guy. I know he'll be good for you."

I smiled at Shawn "Not as much as good you are to me..." I hugged him and he hugged me back. I missed this. I missed my bestie not my lover. "Come on, your missing the s'mores" I got up and we walked out the tent with smiles on both of our faces. At least one real smile.

"There we go, there's the Macky and Shawn we all missed" Nash said. Everyone was cheering and laughing. "This is what we all needed."

I sat down next to Luke and he moved his arm around my neck and pulled me closer. "Does he hate me?" Luke whispered. I looked into the fire and looked at Shawn, he had a huge smile that wasn't fake "What happened?"

I put my head on Luke's should "We're best friends. Just best friends, that's all that happened. Plus he said you're a good guy" I whispered back.

"You sing right? Let's put something on YouTube for fun. What's the worst that could happen?" Luke said. I got up and grabbed my guitar from the tent.

Cameron decided to record it for me, I sat near the fire and decided to play Fly With Me by the Jonas Brothers "How do I start it? Do I just play it?"

"It's recording just say the title and play the song!" Cameron said laughing. Oh shit.
