Luke's POV

I can't get Morgan out of my head even as I continue to kiss Lyric after Morgan saw us and left. I can't stop thinking about Morgan and it is very distracting. I can't even concentrate on kissing a very good looking girl right now.

Morgan keeps coming back to my mind and the moment between me and Lyric is ruined because I can't think of anyone other than Morgan. Why do I have to think of her so much?

I pull apart from Lyric and she whines, which is really unattractive.

"Stop," I sternly say and she does so immediately. "I have to go."

"Don't tell me you are going back to boring old class, Luke," she says, looking me in the eye as she bites her lip.

"No," I tell her. "I'm going home." I feel like walking for some reason today, maybe to clear my head.

She sighs then says, "Fine." She gives me a peck on the lips then leaves.

This happened to me many times before, thinking about Morgan. I liked her and I have to admit that I still do. My feelings for her are getting stronger as I try to get rid of them.

Yes, I like Morgan. I like Morgan Mathis, my step sister.

I shake my head even though I don't stop thinking about her.

I hate having feelings. I wish that I could go around with as many girls as I want without having feelings and without thinking of another girl.

I leave the closet and adjust my bag straps on my shoulders. I walk down the hallway and see the person that can't leave my mind.

She walks fast towards the front doors with her head down low. Something seems wrong and I'm going to figure out what.

I jog up to her and put a hand on her shoulder. She freezes but doesn't turn around.

Finally, after a few minutes of that position, she does and she looks like the same Morgan.

"What do you want, Luke?" She asks me with a not very polite tone.

"What's got your panties in a twist?" I chuckle and she scowls me.

"Seriously, Luke, I want to leave and I don't feel like talking to you," she says with a sigh.

"Wait, are you jealous?" Please be jealous. Please be jealous.

"What do I have to be jealous about?" She asks me.

"Me and Lyric. You basically say us making out." I take a step closer to her. "Did you want to be her?" I take one more tiny step closer so there isn't even a foot in between us and lean down so my lips are in front of her eyes. "Did you want it to be me and you?" I know it's dangerous doing this at school, but I lean down further until our lips are only millimeters apart. "Did you?"

I'm hoping that Morgan will answer but she doesn't for a while.

"No," she says finally and backs away. "No."

She takes a few more steps back and I straighten myself out.

"See you later," she says then turns around and walks down the hall a little more until she reaches the main doors to the school. She goes out them without looking back.
