Morgan's POV

"I'll have whatever you have," I tell Tommy as I set the menu down on the table. He flashes me a smile. To be honest, I only said that because I have never tasted anything on this menu.

When the waiter comes back, Tommy gives him the order and the waiter goes back to give the cooks our order.

"So, Morgan, you look amazing tonight." I blush.

"Stop," I say shyly. "That's the fourth time tonight."

"I can't help it," he tells me with a cheeky smile. "You really look good."

"You look great too," I tell him. He really does; his brown hair left down, and dressed in a button down and black jeans. He really is handsome.

We continue with chat, learning more about each other. The waiter comes back with our food and we dig in. I practically moan at how good it is and I can see that Tommy feels the same way.

After dinner, Tommy drops me back off at my house, walking me up to the door. I know my mom, Luke, and Andrew are here, the fact that they were here before I left and my mom seeing the boy coming back to mind. I know my mom will want to have a girl talk later.

"I had a fun time with you, Morgan," Tommy tells me, taking both my hands in his.

I smile. "I had fun too." I run a thumb over his knuckles and look at his face.

"Is it okay if I kiss you?" He asks, his voice quieter than before. I nod my head slightly and he leans in. His hands leave mine and slip around my waist, pulling me closer. I wrap my hands around his neck and watch as his eyes close, my eyes fluttering closed right after.

I feel his lips brush mine and I lean forward, our lips finally firmly pressed together.

It's slow, but it doesn't bother me. I smile into the kiss and he does so. The soft skin of his lips are what I think about when he tried to deepen it. I pause and pull back, opening my eyes and seeing him do the same thing.

Our smiles are still evident and he whispers, "Have a good night, darling." He then pecks my lips and detached himself from me. I find myself biting my bottom lip as he walks back to his car. He opens the door, turn to look at me and wave, before getting in and leaving. I then go inside, my mother meeting me there with a huge smile on her face.

I glance around the room and notice an unhappy Luke, getting up and going upstairs, not looking at me once.

"I know I made a mistake in trying to kiss you Friday," begins Jack as I roll my eyes, walking to my locker, him following behind, "but please just give me a chance, Morgan. I'm not as bad as I seem, I swear. You should know, we've been friends for such a long time."

"Jack, I'm not ready to get in a relationship," I say and stop when I reach my locker. Me and Luke are officially not doing anything and I'm feeling good about Tommy. "Maybe if you give me time I will think about it."

"I don't have time," Jack exclaims. "I'm the bad boy, Morgan, in case you haven't noticed. I could get any girl I want with the snap of my fingers, but I want you. I want you, Morgan. Please, just give me a chance."

"Leave me alone," I says as I open my locker and gather everything I need. "I need space." I shut my locker closed then walk to class, leaving Jack dumbfounded.

In class, I wait for the rest of the students to file into the classroom, from the back of the room.

I wish I knew what I wanted and what I was doing.

Why can't I just have a normal fudging life like some of the other kids here at school? Why do I have to have a complicated life? Why can't it just be me and my mother like it used to be before Luke and his father came along? Why do I have to be so hungry right now?

The bell for class to begin rings and I watch as the teacher comes in from hall duty and starts talking to the class. I really hate school.

When the school day is finally over, I decide instead of going straight home and have to deal with stupid Luke, I'll go to the coffee shop across town to relax for the short amount of time I will be able to before my mom wonders where I am at.

I get in my car and start the engine, driving away right when Luke starts walking towards me. I drive and drive until I finally come across the small coffee shop that I have always enjoyed. Their service is great as well as their coffee.

"Large mocha frappe, no whip cream, with chocolate chips and a shot of expresso," I tell the lady and pay the amount she tells me.

When I get my order I sit down in the back and look out the window. That's what I do for a while until I decide it's been long enough and go home.
