You Have A Piece Of Hair Out Of Your Ponytail And It Is Really Terrible

Morgan's POV

With my breathing uneven, I step into fourth period with Haley. We aren't too early but we aren't late either. It's when I see Luke looking at me when I stop breathing, and I don't know why. I don't know how I feel and how he can make that happen.

He smiles at me and I force a small smile back at him.

"Go," Haley says in my ear then pushes me towards him. I shoot her a death glare then walk to Luke, now breathing. I don't know why I am so nervous in front of him all of a sudden; I have lived with him for a while now and never felt this way around him. I should be angry at him, but anger just flooded out of me.

"Hi," I quietly say as I take the seat to his right.

"Hey," he replies just as quietly as me. 

"So..." I trail off.

"Morgan?" He asks.

"Yes?"

"I didn't think you knew this already so I wanted to tell you." He moves in towards my ear and a shiver goes down my spine. "You have a piece of hair out of your ponytail and it is really terrible."

I push him away from me and he laughs. I shoot him the same glare I sent Haley just a minute ago. I look around for her and see that she is sitting next to Brandon Carter, a cutie. She is definitely lucky if she gets him. But I do remember that green haired guy she was dancing with at the club. I feel like they would be a cute couple and I hope he it his number.

I look back at Luke and he is still looking at me, which is making me a little uncomfortable.

"What?" I ask him, a little annoyed.

"Nothing," he responds. "You're just so beautiful." I blush at his compliment and look down at the desk. I don't like anyone seeing me blush.

Just like the movies, he lifts my chin up with his hand and I am glad that we are at the back of the classroom where nobody is looking; luckily there aren't many students in here yet, just about five.

He looks into my eyes and his blue eyes are a shade or two darker and I'm pretty sure I know what that means. The bell rings and we look away from each other and he drops his hand as the rest of the students file into the room. We both face the front board and the teacher walks in to begin class.

I can't help but think of Luke all throughout this class period. Tommy is also on my mind.

Finally the bell rings for lunch. I ditch Luke and walk with Haley to the cafeteria.
