Luke's POV

School came around and I walked inside alone, meeting up with Jack who excuses hisself from other friends that are not a part of Morgan's group. We have become pretty good friends over the last few weeks and it's good that I finally have a genuine friend.

I also bet it looks good when we hang together at school, two popular boys.

"See you later," Jack tells me before he goes to meet with Arianna and Zach, that have their arms around each other? So when did that happen?

I tear my gaze from them and continue walking to my locker. I sigh to myself when I see Lyric. Her interest for me has become quite annoying. I try sneaking a different way before she notices me, but a big grin comes across her face when she sees me.

"Luke!" She calls across the hallway and comes scurrying as fast as she can in those heels. I mentally roll my eyes as I stop in my spot to wait for her.

I might as well get over this now.

"What happened? I thought you were going to the party?"

"I decided not to last minute," I tell her. "I wasn't feeling up for it."

"Oh. Okay. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies or something with me tonight."

"Listen, Lyric," I begin, "I'm not trying to get involved with anybody so I don't really want to talk to you."

She frowns. "What do you mean? I thought we were on good terms."

"We are," I reply, "but I don't need this. Sorry."

I walk right past her and I hear her scoff. Well her coming over to the house to hang out with Morgan is going to be awkward now, not like being with Morgan isn't awkward too.

Morgan's POV

"So..are y'all officially together?" I ask both Zach and Arianna at lunch.

She blushes as Zach answers, "Yep. We got together Saturday."

"Awe! Took you guys long enough though." Arianna shoves me with her hand while Zach chuckles. "Well I should get going. Later."

I go to my locker, ready for the day to be over, not ready to see Luke at all; we still aren't on very nice talking terms.
