I Love You, Morgan

Luke's POV

I screwed up with Morgan. Even though she lives with me, I miss her. I miss her cuddling into me. I miss her soft lips. I miss her beautiful hair in my hands. I miss her amazing laugh. I miss her being mine.

I need to get her back. But I don't know how. She probably hates my guts right now and Jack seems to be getting closer to her. I can't let Jack have her or else I will be unable to get her back.

Interrupting my thoughts, the front door opens and Morgan walks inside. Her eyes are focused on the floor as she walks, but I stop her by getting up and standing in her way before she can go upstairs.

"Move," she says without looking up.

"Morgan, we really need to talk," I say. "Please, Morgan."

"I don't want to talk to you," she tells me, looking up. It has been a while since I have seen her gorgeous eyes right in front of me.

"Please," I plead but she shakes her head.

"Luke, leave me alone please. I'm trying to be nice."

"Talk to me, Morgan. In fact, you don't have to talk to me; just let me talk to you," I respond.

"No, Luke, I would like to go to my room." She tries pushing past me, but I grab her wrists roughly, making her drop her bag from her shoulder, and push her against the wall, attaching my lips to hers without a moment of hesitation.

She wriggles and wiggles, but I don't loosen my grip on her. I force my tongue into her mouth and slowly but surely, I feel her loosen up but she does not kiss me back.

I break away from here and open my eyes to look into hers.

"I love you, Morgan," I say when my breathing has slowed and hers too. "I know it's weird to say it to my step sister, but I've loved you for a while now. I wasn't able to tell you and show you. I was scared because I just want you."

She stays silent and I become extremely nervous. I hope she loves me back. "Luke," she starts, "what we had, whatever it was...it's done. I can't do it anymore. I don't love you back. So just forget about everything and move on."

I feel my heart break and look away from the girl I fell in love with.
