Luke's POV

I couldn't help myself, I had to give Morgan some sort of marking to let her know that he is mine. She has to belong to me.

I was so jealous last night and it just felt like the right time to leave a hickey when we got home. After I marked her, I left her and went to my room without seeing her for the rest of the night; I haven't even seen her this morning and it is third period. I have her fourth period and I am extremely nervous.

What if she is mad at me? What if she is furious with me? What if she yells at me in front of everybody?

I just surely hope she doesn't kill me when she sees me next.

Morgan's POV

The hickey Luke gave me is in obvious sight because my makeup wouldn't cover it up, that's how bad it is.

The crazy thing is that I am feeling weird about him giving me it; it's like it's to show everyone that I am off limits even though I'm not off limits, to show that I am his wen though I am not.

I have no idea what I am even thinking.

I have been avoiding Luke because I have do idea what to do or say to him. I am still very much angry at him. What is even going on between the two of us? He hasn't clarified what we are and he never even told me that he likes me. But he did say that I was his and only his. I couldn't believe that those words even left his mouth last night, well basically early this morning.

"Are you okay?" Haley asks me when the bell, ending third period, rings. I see that she doesn't look as bad as I expected her to.

I realize that I just spaced out for most of the class, thinking of Luke.

"Yeah," I say with a total blank face. Haley notices that I show no emotion so after I am done gathering my things, she stops me from leaving the classroom. We are the only two in here now.

"Tell me what's wrong," she demands. Man, I love her. She knows me so well.

I sigh then say, "I talked to the cute bartender a lot and we just clicked. But then Luke gave me this, making me kind of feel like I might like him. There." I know I can trust her with my soul so I don't worry about her telling anybody.

A smile creeps onto her face and she lets out an all too loud squeal. "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!" She cheers over and over again.

"Shh!" I say, not wanting the whole country to hear our conversation. "Of course you knew it, Haley. I just don't know what to do."

My friend calms down then looks at me like the answer is obvious.

"Go out with the hot guy," she says.

"I can't really do that because I don't know if he likes me back and how will that work out at home anyway? Plus the bartender, Tommy, is so sweet and amazing."

"I'll explain as we walk to fourth period, the period we have with Lukey," she replies as she wiggles her eyebrows.

"Eww," I say. "Stop."

She stops and we walk out of the classroom with all of our stuff then we begin talking again.

Haley says, "All you have to do, if you guys do end up dating, is not let his dad and your mom find out. You would have to keep it between the two of you. And me because you will obviously tell me if you guys started dating, right?"

I chuckle. "Of course I would."

"Good," she replies. "And with Tommy the bartender, he is hot also, plus you wouldn't have to worry about sneaking around or anything because you guys don't live in the same house. Just try things out and feel for who you want."

"I honestly don't know if I want either."

"That's fine," she responds. "Now let's go see Lukey!"
