Leilani's Diary Entry: I decided to spend the night at the hotel. Odell knows that me and his mom got into an argument, he said that he was gonna talk to her about that. Me and Odell haven't talked once since 5:00 and that's unusual. We would usually talk for hours until one of us go to sleep. But this was different. It was just a "Hey you ok?" And "Yea, I'm fine." Then that's it. I didn't bother doing anything else for the rest of the day.

Chloe

"Did Odell fall for it?" Mrs. Heather asked over the phone. "Of course he fell for it." I giggled.

"Always knew that nigga was dumb as a brick." I laughed over the phone. "Thanks again Chloe. That Leilani girl seems too bitchy for me."

"Don't worry Mrs. Heather, I got this." I told her. "See, I knew you would, I gotta go, I'll call you later."

"Ok, bye." I hung up the phone.

Me and Odell been texting non-stop since we met yesterday at the mall.

But that was all part of the plan...

Me and Odell been best friends since elementary school. So of course I had a small crush on him...but, that died away.

So, 2 days ago, Mrs. Heather called me and said that she needed me to do a job, and try and to make Odell fall for me.

She also told me that the Leilani girl wasn't right for him. I've never even met her but, if Mrs. Heather don't like her...then who will!

Leilani

I heard a small knock on the door. I got up out of the bed and looked through the peep hole. It was Odell.

"Hey babe." I said to him. He looked up from his phone and smiled. "Hey Lani." He walked past me.

No hug? No kiss? Ok...

"I'm sorry about my mom's behavior the past two days. She'd always had this feeling about me dating certain girls." He explained and I nodded.

"Did she at least say she was gonna apologize?" I asked him. He looked up.

"Well..."—he started—"don't you think you was a little disrespectful yourself?"

"No! Not at all! Did she tell you the whole story?"

"Yes, she did...but Leilani...that's my mom." He said before looking back down at his phone.

"Well you wasn't saying that a week ago." I rolled my eyes.

His phone buzzed and he quickly picked it up. "You've been on that phone a lot since you've been here." I told him.

"I know, but Karavah been texting me non-stop."

"So tell him to knock it off." He shook his head. "I can't...anyways, my mom wants to take me out. I'll be back later ok?"

I nodded my head. I walked him to the door and he walked out. "Aren't you forgetting something..?"

He turned back,"Nope I'm good. I'll see you later."

"Your forgetting my kiss." I said low so that he couldn't hear me. He got on the elevator and left.

I closed my hotel door and went back on the bed.

I wasn't going to let Odell bring me down. So I decided to go out, just to have a walk.

I went to the bathroom and did my daily hygiene. I took a shower for 20 minutes and then got out.

I quickly put lotion on and got dressed. I grabbed my bag and left the room.

I just had to get some fresh air. I really wanted to go back to see my mom, because I miss her.

I miss her, my sister Kayla and my brother Jaiden.

It's been a while since I've saw them. Even if they've tried to set me up.

Odell

"Are you serious?" I laughed as me and Chloe was taking a stroll in the park. Just catching up.

"I'm dead serious." She said. We sat down at a nearest bench. She looked at me with those big brown eyes, beautiful too.

I smiled,"What?"

"Odell, I gotta say, you really look better then what you did in middle and high school." She told me. I smiled.

"Well, you look different too. I mean look at you. Your not that shy little girl with glasses and braces anymore." I told her.

"I know, it feels great!" She said and I chuckled lightly.

She looks at me, and I looked back at her. This was my best friend, from my childhood. It was great for me to have someone to relate too.

"Oh! Before I forget! I'm having a Christmas party. Slide through, and bring guests." She says handing me a card.

"Great! I'll be there." I put the invitation in my pocket and we decided to walk again.

My phone buzzed and it was Leilani texting me. I turned the screen off and decided to text her later. I continuing to walk with Chloe and still catch up on the times we missed.
