Chapter 17

Soo-Ri's POV
I woke up in Kai's arms. We slept on the couch last night. We didn't do anything bad though.

Kai's arms were wrapped my waist, tightly. And as I looked at him, I never thought he sleeps like a angel.

I smiled and carefully got out of his grip. He moved a little bit and changed his position.

I quietly giggled at that. I grabbed a blanket that is next to him and put it on him. He started to snuggle with it.

I smiled at that. I stood up and went upstairs, hoping to find the bathroom.

After I showered, I got dressed up into a causal outfit.

After I'm done, I head back downstairs. The couch was empty.

Kai must've woke up. I thought.

I sighed and went to the kitchen, maybe cook something for us.

I went to the fridge and found....chicken?

I giggled at that. All he have is chicken. Never thought he loves chicken so much. I pulled out the chicken, and started to cook.

Then added some vegetables to the chicken, that's when I heard the door open. I started to get scared, I turned to the heat to low temperature and grabbed a pan.

I quitely sneaked to the hallway, my heart was beating so fast.

I can hear the footsteps coming closer. I swung my arm, but then it stopped.

I opened my eyes, it was only Kai, who stopped it.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

He let go of my arm.

"I thought..." I trailed off.

Kai sighed and looked at me.

"You thought I was the enemy, huh?"

I nodded.

"Don't be scared, Soo-Ri. You're safe here." he said.

I nodded again, but then....

"The food!" I ran towards the stove and turned it off.

"Phew...just in time." I said.

Kai came beside me and smelled it.

"Smells good."

And I just realized that he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Yah! Kai!" I exclaimed.

"What?" he asked.

"Don't 'what' me, Kai. Put on your shirt on." I replied, covering my eyes.

"....oh. Minhae." he said.

I shooed him away.

"Get dress first." I said, pushing him.

"Okay, okay, I'm going." he said.

Heard him going upstairs, then I uncover my eyes.

Never thought he had a tone body.

Yah! Soo-Ri! Don't think that! I scolded myself.

I went back to set the table. Kai came back, all dressed up.

We sat down and ate.

"Soo-Ri, we're going out today." Kai said.

I accidently choked on my food. Then I grabbed my glass of water and drink it.

He...just asked me out on a date. I thought.

"You okay, Soo-Ri?" Kai asked.

I nodded and coughed a little.

"So, why are we going out?" I asked.

"Oh, that...I was wondering..." Kai started to look at me, up and down.

I gasped and covered myself.

"Aniyo!" I shouted.

"Wait...what?" Kai asked.

"I ain't giving it to you!" I exclaimed.

"Soo-Ri, when did you get that idea? I was looking at your clothes. When the others packed your stuff, they told me you have your old ones." he said.

I slowly put my arms down and sighed out of relief.

"So, you think I need new clothes?" I asked.

Kai nodded. "Yeah."

I looked at my clothes and I thought it looked fine.

"You just need more clothes, Soo-Ri. That's all I'm saying." Kai said.

"Okay...um...when are we going?" I asked.

"Maybe after we eat, how's that sound?" Kai said.

I nodded. As we continued to eat, it suddenly became very quiet.

"By the way..." Kai started.

I looked at him to continue.

"You look cute in that outfit." he said.

I blushed at that.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

Kai chuckled slightly.

"Let's finish eating." he said.

As we're done eating, I washed the dishes in the dish washer.

Then I grabbed my purse, Kai was waiting for me in the living room.

"Ready?" Kai asked.

I nodded. "Ready."

Kai smiled and we both walked out the house.

I wonder how this is going to turn out?
