Soo-Ri's POV
I was holding a file and I was about to look through it, but then....I gasped.
I dropped the files and held onto my stomach.
I panted heavily and started to grip on the table.
"Kristy!" I shouted.
She barged into my office. Then she knew why.
"Soo-Ri, your water broke." she said.
I panted and panted.
Kristy came up to me.
"Breath, Soo-Ri. Remember to breath." she said.
I nodded and then Dad came in.
"Soo-Ri." he said.
"Sir, she's going into labor." Kristy said.
Dad's eyes widen at that.
"Get her to the ER. I'll contact Jongin." he said.
Kristy nodded.
She helped me walk out.
"Breath, Soo-Ri. Breath."
Jongin's POV
I caught the guy who stole a lot of money from the bank. I pushed him into the car and closed it.
"Hopefully he'll stay instead of getting out of prison." I said.
"Hopefully." said Soo Shik.
I nodded and turned to him.
"So, how's becoming the Captain of the Police Department?" I asked.
"It's not that bad." he replied.
Then suddenly, my phone rang.
"Yeoboseyo?"
"Jongin."
"Ah, abeoji." I said.
Yep, Can't call him Hyung no more.
"Meet me at the hospital immediately." he said.
My heart is beating so fast.
"She's in labor!'' I said.
"Ne, come quickly." he said.
"Got it!" I said.
I hung up the phone as Soon Shik looked at me.
"She's in labor already?" he asked.
"Ne." I replied.
"Well, you better get going....Dad." he said, teasing me.
I chuckled at that and got into my motorcycle and drove to the hospital.
Soo-Ri's POV
"You're ready to push." said the doctor.
"Aniyo! I need to wait for Jongin!" I exclaimed.
"Soo-Ri, if you wait any longer, you'll eventually lose your baby. I'm sure Jongin will make it." Kristy said.
I hesitated and then thought about it. I really don't want to lose the baby.
"Okay." I said.
"Okay, on 3.....1...2....3!" the doctor instructed.
"AHHHHH!!!!" I pushed as hard as I can.
3rd Person's POV
Jongin came rushing through the doors of the Hospital. And he noticed his crew, friends and his father-in-law.
"Abeoji." Jongin said.
Min-Jun turned to him.
"You made it." he said.
"Where's Soo-Ri?" Jongin asked.
"She's in the delievery room." Min-Jun replied.
Jongin was about to go in there until the nurses stopped him.
"Sorry, Jongin-sshi. The doctor needs to concentrate on the labor. But you'll see Soo-Ri until the labor is over." said the nurses.
Jongin nodded as the nurses went in.
Soo-Ri kept on pushing and pushing.
"I see the head! Okay, Soo-Ri. keep on going." said the doctor.
Soo-Ri did her last push and out comes the newborn.
She heard her baby crying, which is the music to her ears.
"You did a good job, Soo-Ri." Kristy said.
Soo-Ri weakly smiled at that.
The Nurses cleaned the newborn up and gave it to Soo-Ri.
"You want me to go get your husband?" she asked.
"Ne." Soo-Ri replied, weakly.
The nurse bowed and left.
Jongin paced back and forth until the doctor came out.
"How was she?" Min-Jun asked.
"She did great." the doctor replied.
"And the baby?" Jongin asked.
Which made the doctor smiled. "You should be proud, Jongin. She gave birth to a girl."
Jongin had a smile on his face.
"You can go see her." the nurse said.
"Thank you very much." Jongin bowed and walked into the labor room, revealing Kristy and Soo-Ri.
"Congrats, Jongin." Kristy said.
Jongin nodded as in thanks.
"I'll leave you two alone." Kristy whispered and she left the married couple alone.
Jongin smiled and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Want to hold her?" Soo-Ri asked.
She handed her baby girl to Jongin.
She was so fragile.
"Welcome to the family...Kim Hye Yeon." Jongin said.
Soo-Ri had the smile on her face. Jongin kissed her on the cheek.
"Ready to have another one?" he asked, teasingly.
Soo-Ri blushed and hit him on the shoulder.
"Pabo." she mumbled.
Jongin chuckled and kissed her on the lips.
"Saranghae."
"Nado Saranghae."
