Chapter 33

Kai's POV
I visit Soo-Ri everyday in the hospital. Til Morning and Night.

I didn't eat, drink, or even sleep. And every time, I'm in the hospital with Soo-Ri...she never woke up.

I then held Soo-Ri's hand and brought it to my lips.

"When can I see you smile again, Soo-Ri?" I asked myself.

Beep...Beep...Beep.

Her heart beat was steady as usual.

I held her hand tightly.

"I miss you." I mumbled.

"Kai."

I turned to the door and it was Suho.

"Min-Jun needs you." he said.

"Waeyo?" I asked.

"He might give you another mission." he replied.

I sighed and stood up.

"I'll see what he wants." I said.

~Headquarters~
"I'm giving you another mission, Kai." Min-Jun said.

"Well, what's the mission?" I asked.

Min-Jun give me a folder and I read it.

"Mr. Choi is the president of Korea in Mokpo. He's hired many bodyguards but they failed easily." Min-Jun said.

"How long will it take?" I asked.

"2 years." he replied.

I sighed at that.

"Hyung, I need to stay here until Soo-Ri wakes up." I said.

"I know how you feel, Kai. But waiting for Soo-Ri to wake up, we won't know when she'll wake up." he said.

I sighed at that.

"I'm sorry. But you're the only choice I got. Kris and Suho are really busy with their own missions. Same goes for the others." said Min-Jun.

I sighed again.

"But..." I trailed off.

"I'm sorry, Kai." he said.

"I understand. I'll be leaving tomorrow." I said.

~The Next Day~
Today is the day....I'm going to Mokpo.

But before I leave, I went to the hospital again. Went to Soo-Ri's room and she's the same as last time I was here.

I closed the door and walked to her bed.

Then I sat down on the edge and held her soft hands.

"Soo-Ri...today I'll be leaving to Mokpo and....I won't be able to see you for 2 years. It's too long, but I have no choice but to go." I said. Then I pulled out a ring that Min-Jun leaded me.

"Soo-Ri, I was going to give this ring when we're suppose to hang out, but it didn't seem like it. So, I'm going to put it on." I said.

I put the ring on her ring finger.

"Let's just say you're mine now."

I leaned to her lips and kissed her. I just wish she would kiss back.

"Saranghae...and see you soon."

I got up and took a glance at her agian. Her beauty makes me want to have her. And I left her a little note on her nightstand.

I wiped my tears and left the hospital.

Kristy came by to see her best friend, Soo-Ri. She hasn't woke up in months now.
