Soo-Ri's POV
I've been discharged from the hospital. Kristy is the one who signed me out.

We walked out of the hospital and the air smells so fresh.

"It's good to be outside, huh." Kristy said.

I just nodded.

"Come on, the others wants us to go to their headquarters." she said.

I nodded and followed Kristy.

~Headquarters~
"Welcome back, Soo-Ri!" EXO chimed.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

"Soo-Ri, you okay? You seem a little down." Chanyeol said.

"Hmm...I'm okay." I replied.

Everyone glanced at each other.

"But anyway, let's celebrate! For Soo-Ri coming back." said Luhan.

"Yeah!"

~Later~
I sat down on the chair and played with my drink. I don't feel like drinking anything.

Then I decided to go see my Dad. So, I went there.

I knocked on his door and walked in when I heard him say, 'Come in'.

"Oh, Soo-Ri. Having fun out there?" he asked.

"A little." I replied.

Dad sighed and let me sit down beside him.

"It's about Jongin, isn't it?" he asked.

I looked down at the ground, not saying anything.

"Soo-Ri, I'm sorry. I had to choose him, because the other members are having their own missions." Dad said.

"I know. I understand. It's his job." I said.

Dad patted my head.

"Minhaeyo. He's the best bodyguard that I have left." he said.

"That's what you said to him when he was protecting me." I stated.

Dad chuckled. "But still, he's still the best."

I sighed and looked at my ring that Jongin left me.

"So, he gave you the ring huh?" Dad said.

I nodded while blushing.

"Hehe, Congrats Soo-Ri. Your parents would be proud." Dad said.

I just have to smile at that.

"Appa, can you show me their grave? I want to see them." I said.

Dad sighed and nodded.

"I'll take you there."

~Cemetery~
Dad took me to the cemetery and he lead me to my biological parents. And they're buried together.

"They're here, Soo-Ri." Dad said.

He pointed at the grave showing:

I got down on my knees and cried a little.

"Your parents are very good people, Soo-Ri." Dad said.

I wiped my tears away and got up.

"Appa, can if I want to become something, will you approve?" I asked.

"Well, what is it you want to be, Soo-Ri?" Dad asked back.

I sighed and turned to him.
