Chapter 20 - Still Investingating

Kai's POV
"Soo-Ri?" I called her, when I came back from the headquarters.

It's been 2 days already and the guys that we captured, they still haven't spill it out.

I took off my shoes, and walked in.

"Soo-Ri?" I called her again.

Something's wrong. I thought.

I pulled out my gun and quietly went upstairs. As I walked upstairs....I opened Soo-Ri's door and rushed in there, with my gun in hand.

All that I found is Soo-Ri lying on the bed.

I sighed out of relief. I put my gun away and walked towards her.

Then I sat down beside her and sort of shook her.

"Soo-Ri."

She just groaned.

I felt her forehead and she was burning up.

"Oh god."

I rushed out to my room and grabbed some medicine. Then I ran back to Soo-Ri's room.

I supported her and and shook her, gently.

"Soo-Ri."

She groaned again and slowly opened her eyes.

"K-Kai." she uttered.

"Hey, you're burning up. I woke you up because you need to take your medicine." I said.

She groaned again.

"Come on, open your mouth and take this pill." I said.

Soo-Ri nodded and opened her mouth. I put the pill into her mouth and held out the glass of water.

"Here."

Soo-Ri put her hand over mine and drink the water. The feeling of her hands...they're so soft.

I put the glass away and laid Soo-Ri down.

"You want something?" I asked.

Soo-Ri shook her head.

"But you need something in your stomach." I said.

"Ani. I just...." Soo-Ri trailed off.

"You just....?" I asked, letting her continue.

"Just...stay with me." Soo-Ri finished.

My heart started to beat even faster.

I gulped and nodded. I held Soo-Ri's hand and started to stroke it, so that it will comfort her.

"Sleep." I said.

She was about to say something, but I cut her off.

"Sleep, Soo-Ri. Once you open your eyes, I'll be here." I said.

She nodded and slowly went back to sleep. I couldn't help myself but smile.

Soo-Ri's cute when she's asleep. I started to lean closer to her.

I pecked her on the cheek and pulled away, blushing.

This isn't the first time I kissed her.

Then I started to get a little sleepy. So, I started to sleep, right beside Soo-Ri.

Suho's POV
We're still investingating Soon Shik and Young-Soo. Min-Jun Hyung decided to give them time.

Right now, Xiumin and Chanyeol are talking to them.

Kris and I are in the other room, watching them.
