Soo-Ri's POV
Jongin and I are wearing black clothes. Today is the Gov. Park's daughter's funeral. He's holding his daughter's picture while letting his tears fall.
Jongin and I are walking beside him. Keeping watch.
When I look at the picture of his daughter...she looks so beautiful.
And as we got near to the alter. His men set Min-Hee's coffin on the front. Then Gov. Park set the picture on top of the coffin.
The priest made a speech as everyone thought of Min-Hee. Her friends and family.
I glance at the people who were crying.
"Soo-Ri." I turned to Jongin, who was beside me.
"Look."
I followed his glance and he was staring at the man who wasn't far from us. He looks around his 30's.
The priest about to be done, Gov. Park started to walk up and made his speech.
He started to talk while I looked at the man.
Then he suddenly pulled out his gun.
My eyes widen at that.
"Jongin." I said.
"Got it." Jongin was about to move, until the man pulled the trigger.
Gov. Park's men protected him.
"Get him to safety." I said.
His men nodded and left.
Jongin ran after the man and I did as well.
They were running so fast, until I felt a little nuasea.
I stopped running and panted.
Is something wrong with me? I thought.
Then I felt dizzy, but I can't let that bother me while I'm on a mission.
I continued running, until I met Jongin.
He got punched and rolled over to me.
"Jongin!"
I helped him up.
"You okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine." He replied.
I turned to the man and glared at him.
"Why is Gov. Park is you target? What has he done to you?" I asked.
"I want him to feel miserable. Just like me. To see how I feel." the man replied.
Jongin and I glared at him even more.
"You don't have a reason to kill Gov. Park. He doesn't even have a clue, not even Min-Hee. The girl you raped and then...kill her." I said.
He smirked.
Jongin got up.
"We're going to arrest you for rape and murder." he said.
"Hmph."
The man suddenly aimed at us.
"I know who you two are. You're the famous bodyguards. Kim Jongin and Lee Soo-Ri." he said.
Then he started to looked at me up and down.
"Don't you even think about it. She's my wife. And whoever touches her....there's going to be a big problem between you and me." Jongin said, glaring.
I looked at Jongin, speechless.
The man smirked again and then...pulled the trigger.
Jongin and I moved quickly. And then we attacked.
I swung my feet at the man and kicked him on the shin. Jongin tackled him and punched him in the face.
The man was on the ground and I caught him before he moved.
"It's over." I said.
He didn't say anything.
I cuffed his hands as the police came.
"Great job, you two." Soon Shik said.
I smirked and pushed the man into the car.
"Thanks for the help, Soo-Ri and Jongin." Soon Shik said.
Jongin and I nodded.
Soon Shik did a 90 degree bow at us.
"Thanks again." he said and the he left.
Jongin turned to me and smiled.
"You did good." he said.
I giggled. "You did too."
He chuckled and suddenly....I fainted.
Jongin's POV
Soo-Ri suddenly closed her eyes and fell.
Thank goodness I caught her in time.
"Soo-Ri!" I said, shaking her shoulders.
I got no response.
"Soo-Ri!"
Nothing.
Then I felt her pulse.
It's fine, but why did she faint.
I quickly pulled out my phone and call the ambulance.
