Karasu Nishi. This girl is known as the Raven of the West because of her name but what some people didn't know was that she is what some people call a Strain.

Strains are individuals who have gained powers without receiving it from a king.

Karasu's powers are to heal. She can heal any person and animal of any injuries. The Gold Clan had done the test back when she was in kindergarten and they saw what her power was as she got older. She was under the rank of Beta, who are said to be the most powerful type and because of her healing abilities they took her away from her family at a young age. They ran various tests with both Karasu and the Dresden Slate to find out she can heal a kings' Sword of Damocles, but it would weaken her and have to regain her strength in a few weeks time.

The Gold Clan watched over her throughout the years as she grown into a young woman of age eighteen.

A child that was taken from her family was raised in a lab building that was apart of the Gold Clans headquarters had grown into a beautiful young woman. The Gold king had given her many tutors to continue her schooling and to be taught how to defend herself. Over the years they saw that scared little girl that kept crying out for her mother to grow up into a strong independent woman any parent would be proud of- but she didn't. She wouldn't recognize her parents if she ever saw them again, not even her siblings if she even had any.

Karasu had been stuck inside the Gold Clans headquarters ever since she could remember. She just wanted to go outside to feel the sun shine down on her, the wind through her hair, to run around the park she would see from the tower window when she went to talk to the Gold king, Daikaku Kokujōji. She wanted to be free but she knew that everyday was the same. Well, not today at least.

"Come, Karasu. The King is asking for you." Said a clansmen standing in the doorway of the woman's bedroom. Karasu looked up from her book to look at the Usagi standing there. With a sigh she stood up from her twin sized bed, slipping on a pair of black slippers before following the clansman out. It didn't take long to get to the empty loft where Karasu and the Gold King meet.

"Karasu, come here, child." Daikaku said as he looked out the huge window that over looked Shizume City. Karasu walked over towards him to stand next to him looking out the window with wonder and longing. If only she could go outside for a day she would be forever happy.

Daikaku Kokujōji was known as the second and Gold King. Karasu knew he was old enough to be her grandfather, and respected the man for doing so much for her for the past years she has been here. He was the one who taught her about the Seven Kings that lived in the city and ruled certain areas of Shizume. He even said not everyone were aware of the Kings, they even have power over the man she thought was powerful, the Prime Minister.

"You have been here for a long time. Tutors have taught you many things and I have taught you all about the Kings and the powers their clansmen have gained once they join said clan but I'm afraid that's not enough."

"I'm not seeing where this is going, old man." A twitch if the lips. Karasu smirked.

"Brat. You've been here long enough and deserved to live like a normal person."

"Meaning?"

"You're free to leave anytime you wish." Karasu looked up at the older man with wide eyes.

"R-really? I can leave?" He sighed, looking at the young woman who he considered his daughter seeing as he was never married and the woman he loved was killed years ago during the war.

"Yes." Daikaku's eyes widen when Karasu hugged him with a smile before running off to pack leaving him in the room alone looking at the city. He sighed shaking his head.
