Chapter Twenty

April 14th - Thursday Afternoon

Karasu sat on the floor of the bar as she was on her laptop that she had bought a day after getting out the hospital. Not to mention she got one from Reisi so she could continue on she search for the yakuza boss but there wasn't any infomation on him. The only thing she could find was his nickname, Akamizu, which means Red River.

Karasu sighed rubbing her eyes sitting back against the couch behind her.

"What's wrong? Couldn't find anything on your guy?" Izumo asked from behind the bar cleaning a cup. It's was just the two of them alone in the bar as the others went out to get food.

"No, the only thing I got on this guy is his nickname, Akamizu. No picture, no juvenile record, no living or deceased relieves, nothing. It's like this guy was made up to scare people or he's letting someone else do the work for him."

"I'm sure you'll find something. What name does he go by?"

"Akamizu."

"Red River? That's some name. Have you tried looking into the people in his group that have been taken into custody?"

"Twice. They are extremely loyal to this Akamizu guy."

"Enough to take the fall themselves."

"A total of 27 men were taken into custody and were put in jail. All getting 20 to life with no possibility of parole." Karasu said skimming through the numerous files on the computer but clicked on a few photos.

"You found something intresting, didn't you."

"I took a look through the men's photos seeing one thing in common."

"That being?"

"A tattoo. A tattoo of a black dragon and it turns out one of them slipped up saying that Akamizu has a tattoo of a red dragon on his back."

Ding!

"We're back with food!" Tatara smiled walking into the bar holding up a bag full of take out.

"How's your research going, Kara?"

"It's going pretty well, I actually found a good lead to finding this Akamizu."

"Akamizu?"

"That's what this yakuza boss goes by."

"The Red River? Wonder why he chosed that name."

"I bet It's just to scare people."

"That or whatever's left of the victim is just a river of their blood, but enough about that let's eat I'm starving." Karasu closing her laptop once she was done sending the information to Saruhiko.

Karasu sat on the couch running her fingers through Anna's hair as she slept, feeling her shoulder become heavy she saw that Tatara had fallen asleep as well using her shoulder a pillow.

"Idiot..."Karasu just left him alone not really caring at this point. She looked over at the bar seeing Izumo talking to Mikoto. Yata and a few others were playing cards at the tables behind her in the cornor of the room. With a sigh Karasu leans back against the couch relaxing closing her eyes.

At the bar Izumo noticed that Karasu had fallen asleep.

"Looks like our Queen has fallen asleep." Izumo said with a smile as Mikoto looked over his shoulder to Tatara's head resting on her shoulder with her head resting ontop of his and he was sure Anna was asleep too.

"Yeah.."

"I don't blame her. Finding her family and having to deal with Scepter 4 all at once... I'm sure she's a bit stressed out." Mikoto frowned at the mention of the Blues. Izumo knew his friend didn't like the idea that Karasu was helping them but they didn't have any ro to say otherwise, seeing as she wasn't apart of their clan.

"When are you going to ask her?"

"Soon. That's all you need too know."

"I see. Your getting rather territorial with Karasu aren't you Mikoto." Izumo smiled at his friend when glared at him.

"I can understand since Genji Iwasaki showed up around her since her stay at the hospital but I can assure you that you don't have to worry about him, Mikoto."

"What makes you think I was worried in the first place?" The amber eyed man questioned the blond facing him again.

"After what happened with that woman sometime ago. Karasu had become somewhat distant twords you but she's coming around." Mikoto sighed remembering that night. He didn't know what was going on, all he knew was that he was angry and had been drinking after seeing Karasu walk into the building beside Munakata.

"Don't worry, she won't leave you." Again Mikoto glared at his friend.

April 16th - Saturday Morning

"Karasu! Wake up! We have a lot to do before we see mom and everyone else!" Karasu groaned rolling over her bed. Sitting up she heard her brothers, Hikaru, yelling and banging on her door.

"I'm coming. I'm coming." She mumbled getting out of bed walking out the room into the living room.

"Karasu! Wake up!" The screaming and banging started up. Karasu glared at the door swinging it open revealing  both her brothers.

"Will you shut up! If you break down my door I'll kick your ass!" Hikaru just starred and just laughed, annoyed she stomped the heel of her foot on his foot, hard, making him let out a pained whimper.

"That hurt, Kara."

"Good. Now what did you want? I'm sleepy."

"We're not leaving, we have to take you shopping." Hotaru spoke. Karasu was confused as to way she would be going shopping in the first place.

"Why?"

"Pool party."

"Which means you have to find a bathing suit for today. You're very lucky that mom decided to stay at home."

"But why you two?"

"We have to buy the food and Mayumi will be coming with us since she was given a week off starting today. She will be helping you."

"I rather but the food then go shopping for a couple of hours." She grumbled crossing her arms.

"Too bad, your going shopping. Now get dressed!"
