The Next Day- Sunday Morning
Karasu let out a yawn as she walked down the road back to her apartment after spending the night at the Headquarters of Scepter 4 after hearing what the Blue King had to say.
"I hope Mikoto is still asleep. I really don't want to hear it from him." Again she let out a yawn. It was seven in the morning when lieutenant Awashima walked into her captains' office to find Karasu sleeping around papers that laid around her.
'Why couldn't she wait until I woke up? It's so early.' Karasu whined in her head as she got closer to her building. Walking up the stairs arriving on her floor she unlocked her door locking it behind her.
"Where have you been?"
"Gah!" Karasu turned around only to meet angry glowing red eyes.
"Damn it, Suoh! You almost gave me a heart attack!" She said as her hand was placed over her heart.
"Where were you?"
"I went out. I told you last night I was going to be late and I was by five minutes." She said walking past the man as she was taking off her button up shirt placing it on a chair.
"You hungry?" Mikoto hummed as he leaned against the counter watching the brunette as she started making breakfast for them.
"Where did you go last night?"
"I went out but I didn't think it would take the whole night."
"Who did you meet?"
"No one special. Why do you ask?" Karasu felt a shiver run down her back as large rough hands were placed on her bare waist, before they rested on her hips.
"You forget that you are mine, and mine alone." Mikoto said resting his head on her shoulder causing her to tense up.
"I don't like to share." He whispered into her ear making her blush.
"S-shut up, I don't belong to no one." She huffed as moved away from him as she waked over to the fridge taking a few things out.
"Heh." Mikoto chuckled making Karasu look at him confused before looking back to the stove as she placed a few bacon on the pan. Mikoto stood behind her once again.
"What?"
"You are mine." Mikoto tilted her head to the side slightly, placing his lips on her neck as he started sucking on the skin making the brunette face turn a bright red as she bite down on her bottom lip.
"H-hey! Stop that already!" She snapped elbowing the man behind her but only hit air.
"Nice try, shorty."
"I'm not short!" She yelled at him as she flipped the bacon over.
It was in the middle of the afternoon but two people didn't care. Karasu took a shower after eating breakfast while Mikoto laid on the couch once again as he watched tv waiting on the tired brunette to get out the shower.
Karasu walked out her bathroom dress in a over-sized white shirt with black shorts. Yawning, Karasu got her blanket and a pillow from her bed before walking out her room into the living room to see that Mikoto had already took over the couch but she was too tired to complain about it. Throwing her pillow on him making the amber eyed man look at her as she climbed onto him covering the both of them.
"Turn it down, Mikoto. I'm going to sleep." She mumbled as she got comfortable before she quickly fell asleep much to the amusement of Mikoto. Doing as he was told he turn the volume down before he too fell asleep.
*~*
"Your going out again?"
"Yup, this is the last time before I'll be gone for awhile." Karasu said as she put on a sweater over her muscle shirt.
"Are you leaving?"
"No, I'll be in the city but you and the rest of the guys won't be seeing me for some time." Karasu turned facing Mikoto who didn't look like he was enjoying their conversation. Karasu smiled at the frowning man.
"Don't worry about me, Mikoto. I'll be fine." She said grabbing her keys from the table facing Mikoto again grabbing onto his arm. Mikoto felt calmer when he felt her touch.
"Besides, you can't get rid of me that easily." Mikoto looked down at her to see her smiling up at him. How this short tempered girl some how tamed him, Mikoto Suoh, who is known for his hot temper.
"Idiot."
"Your the idiot worried about nothing." Looking at the clock hanging in the living room above the television she let out a sigh.
"I have to leave now, lion. I'll be back soon. I promise." Karasu tugged on his arm as the walked out the front door, Karasu locking it behind her.
"Mikoto, you have to go back to HOMRA. I'm sure everyone is worried about you." Karasu said as they stepped out from the building into the cool night air.
"I'll see you and the others soon, lion." Karasu walked down the street leaving Mikoto in front of the building before she started to run off.
"Well, Mikoto? What do you want us to do?" Izumo walked out from the alleyway as he pulled out a cigarette lighting it up as Yata and the others appeared behind him. Anna ran to Mikoto's side looking up to him before looking where Karasu ran off down the street.
"Follow her."
*~*
"Your late again."
"Don't start with me, Munakata." Reisi stared at the young woman in front of him to see she looked a bit upset.
"Suoh causing you trouble?"
"No, I can handle him but on my way here I felt like I was being followed everywhere I go... This has to be my last day coming here, Munakata."
"I'm sure Suoh with understand why if you told him."
"Like that will every happen. Let's get this over with already."
Not far away from Scepter 4 Headquarters a group of men watched as Karasu and the Blue King talking before walking inside the building.
"She can't be working with the Blues, can she?" Yata asked looking at Izumo who sighed. Izumo looked over at his friend to see his eyes glowing red.
"I'm sure she has a reason why she is here." Mikoto couldn't take it, he turned around walking away from everybody else.
'Karasu what are you doing with the Blues?' Izumo thought as he starred at his friend walking away.
"Mikoto?" Anna had a worried look in her red eyes. Tatara kneeled down beside the young girl giving her a reassured smile.
"Don't worry about the King, Anna. Everything will work out in the end."
"Leave Mikoto alone for awhile. He'll come around soon."
