May 22 - Sunday Morning
"Finally I can enjoy a quite day without the guys." Karasu said as she was sitting on her couch reading a book with a cup of hot tea on the coffee table in front of her.
"Karasu! Open the door right now!" Karasu groaned hearing the panicked voice of her older brother Hotaru from the other side of the door.
"Go away.."
"Not until I've talk to you face to face!"
"Fine but it better be important." Unlocking her door, Hotaru pushed open the door walking inside with her cousins, Mikoto, Izumo, and Tatara.
"W-what the hell is going on here!? You can't just barge into my home like you own the damn place!"
"Sit down, Karasu. We need to talk." Haruo said ignoring her outburst.
"About what exactly?" She crossed her arms after sitting down at the table in the kitchen.
"You're the Raven of the West." Karasu narrowed her eyes at Haruki, Haruo's twin brother.
"Why do you want to know?"
"Just tell us!"
"Let's get one thing straight, you are in my house! You will not raise your voice at me or I'll kill you." She snapped glaring at her cousins. After calming down a bit she looked out the window.
"Yes, I'm the Raven of the West. Why do you ask?"
"So it's true you did this?" She looked at the table to see a file a few pictures had spread across the table. Izumo picked up the file looking through it as Mikoto and Tatara looked down at the pictures.
"Did you really do this? Karasu?" She didn't like where the situation was going.
"Where did you get these pictures from? Did you get them from Scepter 4 or something?"
"So it's true. You killed these people." She shook her head.
"No, well maybe I did. I don't really remember."
"Do you expect us to believe that! Tell us the truth!" Taichi yelled.
"Shut up! I'm telling the truth! I wasn't very good at controlling my powers back than and I occasionally had black outs whenever I went past my limits. I can't confirm or deny doing any of this. Now who gave this to you."
"An email was sent to the boss late last night. A man by the name of Kaibara." She froze hearing that name.
"Th-that's not possible.. He's supposed to be locked away, no contact with the outside world."
"You didn't hear? He excaped a week ago. What's wrong? Do you know him?"
"Yeah, I know him. He's the first yakuza boss I took down three years ago when I was just sixteen years old. He was the lowest of the low. A sadist, a real piece of work that guy." Karasu walked out the kitchen walking towards the window, carefully peeking out from the blinds.
"Does anyone know about you being here? Does your boss know?"
"No, no one."
"Karasu, what's going on?" Izumo asked standing behind the her. Karasu briefly looked at him and sighed.
"Kaibara is after me."
"Because you took down his gang?"
"Not only that but he wants me... He doesn't see me like the way you all look at me. A friend, sister, cousin, none of those... I'm nothing but his toy that he enjoys playing with... He's the only man I fear." Karasu's body shook just remembering the pain she went through.
"Does any of those people from the pool party know that you're here?"
"No, none of them do." A phone started ringing, Hotaru took out his phone from his pocket answering the call.
"Hello?" Karasu could hear a males voice on the other end of the phone, Hotaru pulled the phone away putting it on speaker.
"Okay.." Nothing was said, the other line way quite until a chuckle was heard.
"Did you miss me, little raven?" Again he chuckled.
"I missed you, my dear. I'm back and I'll be coming for you since I know where you live thanks to your family."
"But I must say... I'm watching your dear mother and sister as we speak. It seems mother dearst is quite ill, do keep an eye on her."
"Bastard! Stay away from them!" Karasu snatched the phone out of her brothers hand.
"I'll kill you if you touch them! They have nothing to do with this!" Kaibara snickered.
"Ah! But they do. If you don't meet me at our place then I'll do something to them you'll never forget. And since I'm in such a good mood I'll let you come all on your own, I won't send anyone. Be here by the end of the week. Alone. Bye bye, now." She gritted her teeth hearing him laugh before the line went dead. Turning the phone over she took off the back to see a tracking device on the battery.
"This is why you should never trust anyone from the yakuza. Nobody is your friend." She said showing them the little device to them.
"You should check your phones as well. In fact go back to the house, get mom and Mayumi to pack their stuff and to meet me here." Karasu handed them a paper with an address on it.
"Isn't this place that's in charge of managing family register of special foreigners?"
"To the general public, it is known as that. Enough talk, go get mom and Mayumi and bring them to that address." She said pushing them out the front door, locking it behind them.
"So much for having a quite day..." She mumbled out walking towards her room.
"You have some explaining to do, Karasu." Looking up she saw Izumo standing at the table with Mikoto and Tatara.
"I don't have time for questions. Just know I'm doing this alone. If you guys get involved it'll only cause more trouble."
"But that Kaibara guy doesn't know about us being here or knowing you. We could help." Tatara said.
"No, don't get involved in this. That threat he made, he will hurt my mother and sister. Now I better get packing." She said walking into her room leaving the door open as she got an empty black duffle bag from under her bed, setting it on her bed filling it up with clothes.
"Where are you going?" Mikoto asked leaning against the door frame, a cigarette that loosely hanged from his lips. Karasu knew it was him before he had said anything.
"To Scepter 4, I'm not leaving them there by themselves." She spoke putting the last of her clothes inside the black bag. Mikoto clicked his tongue annoyed by the fact she would go to the Blue Dogs instead of coming to the bar.
"You're coming back to HOMRA." She twitched.
"Did you just tell me what to do?" She turned around facing him, placing her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, shorty."
"I'm not short, damn it! And what the hell makes you think I'm going to listen to you!? You aren't my King, Suoh!" He rolled his eyes.
"Are you done packing yet, Kara?" Tatara asked with a wry smile. He looked between Mikoto and the brunette as if a bomb was about to go off.
"Yeah, I'm done. Why do you ask?" She looked over at Tatara with an annoyed look in her eyes.
"Well..."
"What happened now?"
"You aren't going to like this..."
"Huh? It can't be that bad. I mean, it's not like you guys are going to tie me up and make me, my mother and sister stay at the bar right?" She noticed that he turned pale and looked a bit worried.
"Sorry about this Karasu." Izumo had an apologetic expresstion on his face, stepping into the room.
"Come quietly. I don't have all day." Mikoto said. Izumo mentally cursed at his friend.
"I like to see you try and catch me." In the end it took more than an hour before Karasu was caught and was thrown over the Red Kings shoulder as they returned to the bar.
