Chapter Twenty Seven

Later that night Karasu woke up just before sundown to be able to see the sunset with Anna, Tatara, and her mother. But Karasu wasn't really paying attention. She had her mind on something else. Just after she woke up, her phone was ringing.

'An Unknown number?' Accepting the call she held the phone to her ear.

"Hello?" She could hear a man chuckling on the other side of the line.

"I knew I would find you sooner or later, my dear little raven."

"Kaibara." She growled.

"Now, now, my darling. It's been a week since I talked to you, try to sound happy to hear my voice once again."

"What do you want? How did you find this number in the first place?"

"I have my ways. The week is up, you have until midnight to come to our place."

"Not going to happen. My mother and sister are safe where they are now. You can't get to them."

"I know, the three of you are with the King of Fire and his band of punks."

"Don't call them that. They're more man enough than you are, Kaibara."

"Oh, grown attached to the little brats, huh? Then I guess I have no other choice." Karasu frowned hearing the phone getting passed around before hearing crying.

"Big sister!"

"Yuzuki? What happened? Where are you?"

"I- I don't know... They're scary, come get me please!" She heard Yuzuki cry out her name when the phone was taken away from her.

"You come here and I'll give her back."

"Damn it, Kaibara." She hissed.

"Don't be like that, little raven. I promise she won't get hurt... Unless you decide not to show up that is." She scoffed.

"Do I even have a choice..." Now, as the sun had finally set, she made her choice. She was going to get Yuzuki from Kaibara.... Alone.

"Hey, where are you going, Kara?" Tatara asked once Karasu stepped into the bar dressed in a navy halter top, a black button up shirt and dark blue skinny jeans with black combat boots.

"I'm going out for a walk. Staying inside is starting to get to me." She said putting her hair in a ponytail.

"Take someone with you." Karasu smiled waving it off.

"Don't worry about me, Kusanagi. I'll be fine, really." Izumo, Mikoto and the others starred at her as she talked to Anna whispering something in her ear causing Anna to nod.

"Thank you, Anna. I'm counting on you."

"What'd you tell her?" Yuki asked.

"To make sure this guys don't go off causing trouble. Especially Yata and Mikoto." Mikoto rolled his eyes.

"Hey!" Yata yelled with a blush.

"Heh, don't worry about me. I should be back by later on tonight. See ya." She gave them a little smile, waving at them before walking out the door.

"Anna. What's going on?" Anna looking around her to see the boys looking at her.

"I can't tell you. Not yet." She said looking away from their eyes.

"Karasu told you this, didn't she."

"Yes. She said to wait."

"It seems Queen is doing something dangerous." Tatara said.
