Pain
they told me pain
was weakness.
they told me pain
was useless.
they told me pain
was not a release.but it demands to be
felt
and it demands to be
heard
and the thing about
pain
is that it isn't
weakness or useless
but that
you are alive,
you are human,
you are standing on the battlefield
with two feet
rooted firmly to the ground,
if barely,
and you are still here.
you are still strong.
and may the pain carry you on.
A/N
Pain is not a sign of weakness. To me, it shows me that you're still standing. That you're strong enough to not crumble against the tide. That you're still up and fighting.
Don't let life get the best of you. Stay strong. :)
